I've always found this weapon underwhelming

Piercing damage has a "counter hit" mechanic where if you hit an enemy while they're in an attack animation it does bonus damage. Since you were hitting Oceiros so many times at different points in his attack pattern that's probably why the Weapon Art was being that inconsistent.

sword master is a summons for vordt if you kill him so maybe after you kill vordt swordie just dies as a scripted event. dark souls be like that. maybe ill go test it lol

Impressive run and you did more damage to dragons because the weapon is split in lightning and physical damage and in game and lore lightning is the weakness of dragons so that's because you did more damage to dragons and i would like you to try out the dancers double blades

the weapon art has such inconsistent damage because it basically casts a lightning bolt miracle at the end, if it hits the enemy closer to you, it deals extra damage.

Ranni actually killed godwyn because she didnt want to be a pawn of the greater will/two fingers. She picked godwyn because well mogh and morgott were both under lyndell at the time and miquella and melania were probably at the haligtree at all times, godwyn stayed in mostly the same location so thats why Ranni went with Godwyn as he would be the easiest target and his death probably would hit marika the hardest

It seems like the weapon art does damage over time. During the oceiros fight when you were analyzing it, I noticed it was consistently going up in damage every half second or so as the attack was held.

15:07 fighting the decons with the butcher's knife feels so good like you get healed everytime you hit them. Butcher's knife is definitely one of my most fav weapons in ds3.

There's a lore reason that the Old Demon King fight is mid: He's old. He's very old and tired. That fight is the Dark Souls equivalent of finding a barely mobile 90 year old and beating them to death with your bare hands, because that's what you do. That last explosion attack he does is what's left of his strength, and he just crawls around the arena and can barely lift his axe/club to swing it.

I know how it feels when you have such a hard time with a boss at first go but then it becomes your favorite and fun fight after you learn it. Dancer is his boss, the one I experienced just the same was Dragonslayer Armour. Hated how he would turtle, you could fall off, and the angels attacking after mid fight. But afterwards, I just understood what to do and now is just a fun easy fight.
