My artificer has absolutely terrible luck whenever he gets in melee. Which sucks because I feel like his prosthetic arm (Spelljammer setting) and a few spells would be *really* cool for flavor. Hopefully the new armor I just got will help.

I've bean the one to ask a dm to keep dialog secret. The campaign died off and is never finished. No one knows the end goal of my charecter but the dm. But I'll share with you all. Brobain Ghostfriens (yes that's his name. Hates being calld propain.) Is to be the next God killer of this wourld. Or the next wourld endor to thwart thier game of chess known as the lives of his wourld and those summond to his wourld to save it. For he has died once, and again to come back with less and less of his own soul. Taking his patron and slowly blending into a new demigod of vengince. The next "berserker of the sword of heros." Taking his forgotten heritage in his village hiden amount the leaves. And protecting his daughter tooth and claw with his ghoulish natur. For dum he may be to the civilians wourld. Knoledgibke he is to the dark of the abyss. May his screams of rage comfort you through the night. For he is the reaper searching for deaths head. Home brew campaign with parts of Naruto, God of War, Berserker, scoobydoo refrences, all atop a wourld based of "rising of the shield hero." Started as a side charecter in the sword hero party. The one who was the sword hero was smited by the gods and so was another companion as they both quit the campaign in the early days kickstarting my charecters path...becuse not only did they due..but the slave girl we rescued was kidnaped by the gods as a "plaything." They thought brobain died. But his fallen trickster God patron who he lovingly calls "fuck face" becuse of the permanent troll face maks he where's and the phantom cloak from scoobydoo he adores merges his soul with Britain's to heal him and revive him.....still being a dick to him and those around him but he lives in brobains shadow now....more can be told later if whanted. But his tale left off with having bean forced to have a child...I mean literally converted to a gal and <×:& by the one who beat him in battle becuse of a cursed sticker another npc poot on his wepon.....he now has a ghoul child he feeds fingers from death row prisoners too to keep her from eating civilians...or his teamates.

My DM and I would fake text each other things like ‘Look me dead in the eyes and nod once.’ just to mess with the rest of our friends. I have a very undeserved reputation for playing shady characters, so our DM loves to watch the other PCs run around trying to figure out what my Good aligned Cleric is up to.

Me, the DM: For the first time in a several months long campaign, i hand the player a pre written note card for the cursed magic item he just donned and failed the save for. It secretly charms him and gives him new secret goals as a character. A subtle puzzle for the party to figure out why their rogue started acting different. The player: proceeds to read the note out loud for the table.

Idea: don't just send the players one secret... Send the entire party personalized secrets, but let the entire party know, that every member of the party get 100gp per kept secret per session... And send them new secrets every session, and roll randomly to determine the severity of the secrets.
