My french trip this year saw me sailing on a beautiful lake, which is the largest in France. Lake Hourtin or is it Carcans? Who knows, but what an adventure. I experienced St Elmos fire when surrounding thunderstorms had my mast and rigging buzzing like a swarm of bees. and, I lost the rudder on a capsize, all in a weeks sailing experience.

This is my First trip out with the boat. The first day went well, but very little wind eventually becalmed. The second day was much better but a storm came up the lake behind me and after the last capsize in the video, things got a bit wild, not filmed, but I did manage to land her ok.
