Enjoyed your demonstration , you could press the fabric and then mark with fabric marking pencils for perfect center every time. When, doing denim fabric I have found using 90/14 embroidery needles work best. Good Sewing to you.

I remember we have been approached a number of times in Jersey. I just turn them down immediately 🤣 though some might be real, but most of them are scammers.
