Marching SunDevils Pregame Playoffs Semifinals

Filmed 11-22-2024, the Marching SunDevils perform the national anthem and our fight song before the semifinals game against Deep Creek! We ended up winning 42-3 and moving to finals against Green Run. NOTE: We would ordinarily be in full uniform, but it was a very cold night so we opted for spirit wear in order to stay warm :)

During playoffs, we don't perform our show but instead perform pep tunes on the track. Here are those, from the Regional Quarterfinals. We ended up winning the game 14-7 against Bayside with a miraculous touchdown in the last five minutes of the game. We will be hosting another game next Friday against Deep Creek, so subscribe for videos from that game as well. Also, thanks for 10,000 views!

@ For privacy reasons, I’m not going to say what school but we are in South Dakota! I can look at who arranged ours and come back and tell you. Also, your director may have rearranged it to fit your school better and ours may just sound alike!

Love to see this. I do have a question though, are those basses muffled? As they tend to seem ringy through the recording. If they aren't i recommend getting some as you can get some cheap stuff from yamaha and it can make the drum sound really bleedy. just a question and some advice.
I asked our double bass drum player, and he said "We DO have muffling, the adhesive on the head has simply melted off so it just doesnt work very well"
Never could stand this kind of music and drums, but as a musician, hey I have to admit, you guys and gals are GREAT at what you do, looks like a lot of practice and time is put into this and takes alot of skill, very nice!

Some schools will stack two basses when they don’t have enough bass drummers, my school did that one year
