@warrenmaker798 for this, I've separated the flap and Aileron servos- 2FL + 2 AIL wing type. It allows a more precise setup for each surface. Other Mixes I've used are elev-flap, rudd-elev and also some throttle- elev. I had to give my model right thrust- I find it needs some down thrust but I've opt to mix it in as opposed to playing around with more washers etc!!

@michaelkrailo5725 yeah it's a fun plane. It was the first "esky" I flew back in 2011- I wasn't a foam fan. However, the evolution of the manufacturing capabilities is phenomonal. 4s 2200mah- 6-7 min easy! The beauty of it is not needing full throttle holistically to fly a wide envelope- power to weight is on point!

@sendit_rc you could fly it on a K-45 no worries. I feel it's a great combo. Set your cofg on rear edge of wing tube with landing fuel in main tank (uat full)..files like a dream 😍

@@TurnaRC yeah I know a K45 is good but I'm a speed freak and want to have more than enough thrust to make me satisfied. What flight times do you get on the 70?

@sendit_rc timer set for 8 mins 30. Land with more than ample @ about 7 min. It depends, if I've been racing everything is slow and I have the tendency to punch the throttle more. At the end of the day 1/2 or more throttle with k-70 is super effective and a combo which is powerful yet relatively economical

I had a couple Rebel Hot's with X45, X90 and K70-G4. I would use a 60N to 90N turbine. the 45N wasn't that fun.

@TinyHouseCottages I threw the supplied rx out and used an 8ch rx- so all surfaces are split. I believe with the stock you need to unlock that rx- run 1 flap and 2 Aileron, mixing aileron-flap. Not sure. It was a kit minus EDF and ESC. 1L Fuel on board, it has a lot of thrust!! Weight isn't an issue nor does there appear to be any impact relative to wing loading. Thank you for the positive comment.

Nothing structural. Split all flight surfaces into individual channels for redundancy except Rudder and nose wheel steering (cut down a y lead). Not too much work to do the conversion

I also manufactured 3mm ply to mount the K-45, picking up the existing mount system for the edf. Heated up a bolt and slotted it, so the ply could be 5 min epoxied in despite being screwed on with m3 countersunk screws also as per stock Eflite mount (if that makes sense).

​@@TurnaRCdo you have the drawings of the plywood? I mounted mine in the edf place, and the pipe is 4cm longer than the plane
