When shows went behind the scenes of Lois & Clark, they were so playful, funny, flirty together and Teri looked more comfortable, playful etc with Dean than Jon...wasn't playful with him in interviews, was more serious!. And Dean & Teri would make the most beautiful babies together!!..still, it's not too late!...;0) x

I think Teri and Dean had a hell of a chemestry. For me they played the best couple of these years. Tonact like that they had be friends or maybe more. Every scene together was a wonderful moment. Really love these two.

The WHOLE point of Smallville was Superman BEFORE HE WAS SUPERMAN! Lois and Clark was kinda in between the Superman movies, but before Superman Returns I guess. Or, it was more of an alternative future for Clark. Lois and Clark focused more on Clark's personality rather than Superman. And the big question here is: Can we really compare Christopher to Dean to Tom to Brandon? All four actors are very different from one another, and they all put their own spins on Clark Kent.

Brandon and Kate, Dean and Teri, Tom and Erica, Christopher and Margot all did a good job as Clark Kent and Lois Lane. You have to take into account the time periods they were done. Christopher and Margot were playing the characters in the late 1970s to the late 1980s. Different times, just like Dean and Teri were the 1990s, which is different from the 2000s. Tom and Erica were more modern, even with the young years of Superman, and Brandon was kinda in the middle.

I quite liked Dean's portrayal of Clark Kent. As I love Tom Welling's. As much as I wish Tom could be Superman on the big screen, it's never going to happen. Henry Cavil is the new Superman, and Dean is too old to put that costume back on.

What does Spider-Man have to do with Superman, Lois and Clark, or Smallville? Ah well. I think Andrew Garfield is a better Spider-Man than Tobey Maguire was, though Tobey had the better costume. As for Superman/Smallville, my favourite Clark Kent is Tom, and I really like Dean's Superman/Clark Kent. He was hot. Erica was a really good Lois Lane, as was Teri Hatcher, but I like Erica's Lois more because she was more independent.

My point. It's the general acting, not the physical appearance. Yes, to some extent, you need a certain look for Clark Kent. I mean, no shorter than 6'0", but otherwise, anyone who played the character did a great job.

Tom Welling doesn't have blue eyes either. His eyes are green. Who cares if Dean's eyes are brown?! He was tall enough, fit enough, dark enough, so who cares about the eyes? Minor issue that is.

Smallville was just as good as Lois and Clark The New Adventures of Superman

I loved growing up with Teri as Lois Lane, and after reading Burnt Toast I loved her even more :) And I don't normally biography sort of books, so I was genuinely amazed! Gotta love Teri and Dean together too :P

She was married to Jon Tenney, and also to a personal trainer very briefly before him (whose name I don't know). But she also seriously dated McGuyver (lol!) and Dean Cain from what I understand. The possibility for jokes is really endless there - what would McGuyver do if the car broke down on a date, etc. Oh well, Hollywood - charming good people at every turn, must be hard to not fall into dating co-stars.
