Me too i stopped braiding and twisting my hair i just do a pineapple at night and moisturize daily. Its so freeing.

As a little girl, I always thought women with hard features (Sharper jawlines, cheekbones) were so pretty because I have soft features that always made me have a youthful appearance and for some reason as a child, I did not like appearing young lol

I have the almost the same experience as you with hair. I big chopped my hair May 2024 after school let out after my freshman year and now I'm going into my sophomore year of high school with a twa. I definitely understand your experiences like when people made offensive comments and I have people at my school like that too. This video definitely was really helpful, thank you!
