Hi Tammy . I just came a across your video's today . I just got my M1 let week and beging to playing with it Sunday. I got the M1 10w for the engraving .it a got addition to my small businesse because i have been using Itching cream to do 100 wine glass oder. You have help me have the confidence to try . If you can do video engraving on a wine glass and using the black laser marking paper and the rotary tool that come in premium material package , Again I'm soooo happy that I came across your video's there helping me a lot.

How do I get my grid back to normal size instead of having 100mm by 100mm square with gray rounded off sides on xcs
funit honestly I'm not sure why you're seeing this. The only time I've seen a change is when I zoomed (bottom left corner) or changed from Laser Flat to another mode. If you aren't already I highly recommend joining the Facebook group - facebook.com/groups/xtoolm1. If you ask your question there I'd bet somebody else has experienced the same thing.

Can you tell me what kind of wood you used
Susan my apologies for my late reply I was sick last week and not online. I use 3mm Basswood puzzle base and back and 6mm Basswood for letters.
@Creating with Tammy OK no problem. Where do you get your wood? I have been researching the xtool M1 and trying to learn everyrhing about it before I decide to buy it. I would love to make those name puzzles

I’m worried about getting the machine, due to the toxic fumes when cutting acrylic and mdf, so i wanted to ask about that. Do all the fumes go outside through that black hose?
Hi Yolanda sorry for the late reply. You definitely want to vent it outside to reduce fumes. The new P2 machine is geared more towards acrylic, there are limitations to the to the color of acrylic this machine will cut.

Great video! Is the machine loud when engraving and do you have to have it vented? Thank you.
Regina yes you need to have it vented outside or purchase an air purifier (Xtool offers one). It does make some noise but I wouldn't call it loud! Thanks for watching!

Can you tell me what kind of laptop you use I have a chromebook and I know that's not compatible for this machine
I use an older HP laptop that is 1.30 GHZ with 16 MB or RAM. It works great with Xtool Creative Space. Let me know if you have an questions. Thanks for watching!
Oh my gosh. I have been struggling with importing from Canva so your video was SO helpful! So often I end up with black boxes in the background once the SVGs are imported. I didn't realize that I could delete the background of a .png right in XCS! Game changer! Thanks so much for this! :)

@@creatingwithtammy6280 I’m having trouble getting svg files to vector files so they will cut. I have a M1 10W. I reached out to the designer of the file and she said her files were laser ready. She tried to help but isn’t familiar with xTool. All the files I’ve tried scores and does not cut. And yes..I do have “ cut” selected. I, sure it’s just a simple fix…but I just can’t get it!!!

Im struggling to get my images onto it

I got my M1 this week and I’ve had it five days now and I couldn’t find anywhere where XTOOL shows you how to do all the Photo editing and outlining and framing and all that. I was in the dark and I had absolutely no idea and couldn’t figure it out myself. I’m so thankful for your video. I subscribed and I’m gonna tune in later for other videos. You were a real blessing!
