@@GanggangPeanut Bad soil....when I get home tomorrow (up north in Wisconsin right now) I'll have to sort out a resow. This would be the normal time I sow my alliums so no worries there....but Ugh. I've never had this issue. The soil was stored in a sealed bucket and smelled a bit musty...but I was in a hurry. So my bad,

@ maybe it was not sealed tightly,or was bad before it was put in the bucket,sow again in good soil 👍🌱🌱all good fun and games..👍🇬🇧

I am glad you have the seeds,end of feb is about right,they may need a little heat to germinate,if it stays cold outside 🌱👍🍅 eight weeks or so after that they may be ready to go outside,if the are in a greenhouse they will be fine 👍👍

@ Yes I will start them on a heat mat in the house and then move them into my greenhouse. I was thinking end of this month. I started some to soon last year and they failed when I moved into the greenhouse. So I’m waiting longer this year lol. You did some later last year and they did catch up ok if I remember correctly.

@ I sowed some in December,I got fruit early but the plants were weak.i sowed some later and they grew much better and kept going until autumn 🍅🌱👍 patience is the key 👍👍

Thanks Pete 😂😂 Jimmy the tent seems to be working ok, a little warm but turning up the fan cures it 👍 the seed potato challenge looks interesting I thought that I would need to cut it up where there are eyes.👀 I saw Elaine’s pumpkin challenge I thinking where I could grow it on the plot they are quite large pumpkins.🎃 what carrot variety are allowed in your challenge,I will have a crack at it 👍🌱🌱🌱

@GanggangPeanut my onions are babies, really Mark. I didn't sow them until 16th January & I'm hoping to sow some chill peppers this week. I'm not quite sure yet when I'll be doing my tomatoes. My last frost date is usually the middle of April

@@GanggangPeanut Hi Mark If and when my chillis and peppers germinate and pot them on I will start to give them a weak feed of Seasol, Cal mag, fish emulsion and chilli focus. I will pot them on once they get there 2nd true leaf on. 👍👍👍👍👍
