April is just around the corner. There's a new mall opening this year, SM city Laoag, let's hope it opens before June.

We pay around 30-40 pesos/kilo, but it fluctuates depending on supply and weather conditions. During typhoon season the prices go up, but not too much.

@@RelaxingStroll-r5u good thing in Guam is free food like food stamp, free housing, free healthcare, welfare/cash assistance. Everyone is equal no rich or poor . Actually the poor eat much better because they get 1 thousand dollars per month in food assistance and eat better food like steak and lobster

I heard they can open between April-June of this year. I posted a video dated 1/4/25 titled "Tour of Ilocos Norte and eating $10 Ilocano buffet" and during my tricycle ride to the buffet you can see the outside of SM City Laoag. I make some edits on video clips when someone plays loud music on the background so I don't get copyright strike.

They currently charge 599 pesos on weekends and 499 weekdays. I was there on a Saturday and when I used the conversion calculator I rounded it off to ten bucks.

I was told the menu is different all the time. I went there because I wanted to eat crabs, but they were out of stock. Before I was about to leave I saw them grilling steak and tuna so I stayed longer and got to eat them, those were ok.

I will do a walking video of brgy 3 in the near future. I watched some RUclips videos of Guam and it looks nice there, but it seems like it's expensive place to live compared to the Philippines.

Why immigrate to Guam from Ilocos Norte? I can not imagine living in Guam longterm. It's too small of an island. It was OK being stationed there, but moving there permanently, totally out of the question. Good luck to you guys, though. Just a nice place to visit for me. We used to live on First Street at the Navy's Officers Housing in Barrigada.

@@RelaxingStroll-r5u yes too many people leaving And going to the mainland US. 2 bedroom apartment is 1 thousand dollars NOT including power water internet and trash disposal. Water is expensive here as well and we don’t even drink the faucet water. And GAS cost 6 dollars per gallon. Rice alone cost 40 dollars a sack

@ thanks for the tip Miki is easy enough to remember. I am from Tarlac are famous soup is Mami 😋. Empanadas seems to be everywhere in the world and I’ve eaten my fair share of them….except…the one from Ilocos 😁😁
