The key to pie crust is keep it cold. I don’t pre bake for pumpkin pie but if you do pre bake it, you’ll want to put parchment paper over it and fill with dried (uncooked) rice or something similar to weigh it down so it doesn’t move. But regardless, after you shape the dough in the dish, put it in the freezer for 10 minutes or so and then straight in the hot oven.

Keep trying. That's how you learn to be great at anything. ❤

I have the yummiest sourdough discard pancake recipe! The night before I feed my sourdough 2 cups flour and 2 cups water. The morning of, I save 1 cup of sourdough in my fridge for future recipes and use what I need to make some bread. The rest of the sourdough discard I use for the recipe! I mix these ingredients to the rest of the discard and cook on a cast iron pan with butter! 2 eggs 1 tsp baking soda Vanilla 2 tbs sweetener (organic sugar, honey, maple, coconut sugar) 1/4 cup oil or melted butter A pinch of salt This recipe is super forgiving too so I switch it up all the time, sometimes I’ll add pumpkin and bananas instead of eggs and oil. You can do whatever sounds good! I’m obsessed!

Right after cooking your steak, put a tablespoon of butter on top and let the steak rest while the butter melts into your steak. A chef taught me this and it's soooo good. Pure Irish butter is expensive but very worth it. It takes the yum to the next level. I hope you have a wonderful, peaceful evening. ❤
