Man oh man, I would love to winter ride there at night. Beautiful setting.

A well defined trail with lighting that pierces the dark sufficiently, can make for a relatively safe and fast night ride. Adequate layering can stave off that "lets cut this short" mentality. Only suggestion would be eye protection in the form of a clear shield, to prevent scratched retinas. But as others have indicated, a beautiful setting. And with Finland's long nights, this might be an early evening ride. What time was this?

Those trails look lovely. Would love to get proper snow like that to ride on. We're stuck with mud or occasionally really soft snow that the tyres just sink into.

@JUICEDENERJY alamäkeen riippuu radasta ja kuskista. XC:ssä käytännössä kaikki käyttää lukkoja. Jos aiot harrastaa maastopyöräilyä niin kannattaa ehdottomasti hankkia,tehokkaampi poljenta ja monessa tilanteessa turvallisempaa kuin ilman. Kannattaa ensin harjoitella lukkopolkimilla tasaisella ennenku lähtee polkuja hinkkaamaan, menee viikko-pari opetellessa.

@WayTooManyUsersHere Selvä, kiitoksia. DE:sta tilattuja? Oon myös kattonu MJ-872:a leveämmän valokeilan takia, mutta se on jonkin verran kalliimpikin. Tai sitten MJ-808E + levittävä linssi, valintoja.:) Luulen kuitenkin pärjääväni pelkällä otsavalolla. Laatu ei sinänsä ole suuri ongelma, paranteleehan noita jos eivät tahdo toimia. Tosin MagicShineUK:sta näyttäisi saavan 12kk takuun pienellä hintapremiumilla ja lisähinnalla erikokoisia Open Lightin akkuja alkuperäisen sijasta.

@Mithsereg Kaksi kappaletta vastaavia vanhempia malleja kuin MJ-808E. Eri ledit nokalla mutta ulkoisesti samoja. Magicshinet ovan hinta/valomäärä suhteeltaan ylivoimaisia, mutta laatu on vaihtelevaa. Pienet tekniset ongelmat ja puutteet pitää ikään kuin hyväksyä jo tilausvaiheessa. :-) Jos luonne on sellainen että viallinen tai puutteellinen tuote on henkilökohtainen katastrofi niin ei kannata sotkeutua noihin. Näprääjille ja tuunaajille ne on hyviä.

Mikäs lamppu etumaisessa pyörässä on kun noin riittää valotehoa? Tarttis hyvän lampun mm. samaan käyttöön ja toistaiseksi mielessä on ollut Magicshinen MJ-808E.

- If I recall correct, it's a Panasonic regular digital still camera. Those are much much better in darker conditions due to better dynamic range control. - These trails are located in Hallila-Pehkusuo -area in Tampere. - The bike light is a Magicshine SSC P7. Please correct me if I'm wrong :)

What type of camera? Hero? Contour? My Contour is no where near this bright at night even with very good lights. Nice trails.

@WayTooManyUsersHere Thanks a lot for fast response I appreciate a lot. Normally, in Spain we have lot of sun, so for this reason why I have lots of doubts about snow. Anyway, I have a good bike with disk brakes, but not sure if it is more rentable bring mine there in Tampere or directly buy one there. Could you suggest me some good bikes shop in Tampere? Thanks!

@overdriveblackhat Just normal MTB bikes. Disk brakes are best for winter, and wider tyres with less pointy knobs float better on a snowy trail. Studded tyres for hard icy conditions only. I could send you GPS-trails no problem, but it's best to start with locals because the condition of the trails varies. Don't get too excited though. Trails like these take time and optimal weather to form. Last winter we had this kind of trails for 1 to 2 months only. Too frequent snow is bad. Keep in touch.

Impressive, Tampere is the next city where I am going to live, it looks really interesting go there and doing this kind of routes by bike. Just one doubt, what kind of bike do you have? you need special wheels? also could you show me in a map exactly what route are you doing... and I was thinking to buy Garmin Colorado for bike off-road running, but not sure if you could suggest me any other GPS that maybe is better for those routes. As you could see, I have lots of doubts :-) Thanks!
