    Thanks for these super versatile designs! The teardrop can also be a pendant and the square one could be drops on a necklace or a bracelet. If you are looking for ideas, I would love to see a project that uses a hammered wire frame (14, 16, 18g) with minimal weaving and no or few flourishes that will showcase a stone that already has a lot going on like banded agates, busy jaspers etc. Most of what I am seeing is very ornate wirework around less complex stones.       @@cosmiccoyotedog-doreenb9605 not much I can do about it, that’s what microphone pics up. You can mute the video and read the subtitles. It takes RUclips some time to generate them, not sure how long. But they should be there eventually. Hope this helps

    Thanks so much for this tutorial. I have done mostly beadwork over the years and never liked using seed beads for a pendant bail. These are both great alternatives with two very different looks.

    You can reverse the flush cutters to help each ring from needing to be filed flush cut one ring reverse flush cutters cut the next ring & so forth less sharp sides & less filing etc or trimming excellent video & very helpful ❤

    This is helpful as I often don't have a jumping in the right size and color for my pieces. There are very few tutorials about making free standing wire bails so if you have experience or ideas for one or two that would be great.

      Absolutely! It's very common to use this frame structure with round wire. Most of the times you can use round instead of square. It will look slightly different, but that's about it.

      I didn’t measure. I usually go for the whole length of my mandrel. It’s about 1ft long

      Not sure what you mean by space between the cab and the frame. I have a video for a square wire frame with three wires. It’s the same thing, but using one wire. You may want to check out Mithril Arts channel. She definitely has a video about such frames, also she is absolutely phenomenal!

    How do you know how much wire you need to be able to make a certain size double coil I always come up short?

      I don’t, it’s always a guesstimate. You can measure by making for example a 4” coil, then make a double coil from it and you will know the length. If you mean the weaving wire, I keep it on a spool, so I have no idea.
