Hi, mi MDX is an older one but holds 20 gallons. I waited to get the tank half way and then poured 1 gallon of lacquer thinner before a 3 hour road trip. 👍👍👍

It works great. My MPG have better ever since I used the lacquer thinner. Cataclean seems like it’s not strong. Glad it worked for you👍👍👍

I went to Menards, but I believe that Menards is not in all 50 states. Home Depot and Ace Hardware sells it.👍

It will work ok but your mpg might go down a bit. Just pay attention if the engine gets noisy.✌️

I believe that it’s the octane level that makes the Acura engines noisy and have worst fuel mileage.👍

Yes, 87 makes the spark plug firing go off a bit. The combustion inside of the piston does not ignite in time and causes the noise. I have used 89 in some cases and it runs ok. 91 and above is best. Also, these engines require valve adjustment. Check your service manual and see if you are at the mileage for adjustment. I will run smoother 👍

The sell a special tool to pull fuses. You could also try vise grip needle nose pliers and try to pull it without cracking the fuse.👍👍👍

Hi, on the driver side fuse box check fuse #27. Then on the passenger side fuse box, check fuse #2. Also check fuse #4. But these fuses hardly burn out, so you might have a short somewhere in the cables. Good luck!

Thanks for watching. These MDX are strong like a tank. I drove it in a blizzard and it was solid and steady. I use it as a road trip car and drive a smaller car in the city. I follow the maintenance schedule and garage it overnight and in bad weather. The alternator is the only critical part that has ever failed and I replaced it woth another Denso. I feel like these could go 500k miles on original engine and transmission.💪💪💪

Yes, it blew out on an area of the highway with no shoulder. I had to dive it a couple minutes like that and it shredded the tire pretty bad.👍

That is true ! These are a set of old snow tires. Now I make sure to look in which country the tire was manufactured in.👍

You could get it at any major hardware store or auto parts. You could also buy it at the dealer but it will cost more. I used Buss brand and they work the same as OEM.👍

Thanks for watching. The carquest cap has been working fine. Usually I use OEM but I was far from the dealer that day. Also, these Honda’s are made to survive 3rd world countries where there is no OEM parts available. You don’t always need OEM on non safety parts.✌️

They are penny pinching and loosing battery customers. I buy the batteries at Home Depot or Walmart now. They have a better price than the dealer and is hassle free if you need to exchange a bad one.✌️

@deicibao Amen, just got one of those 24 month batteries at walmart and upgraded to the 24F battery. Went front 500 CCA to 600CCA and its like night and day

Just went through the same thing. I bought a 2011 honda odyssey and a few days later the battery was dead. I had it tested and it was bad. Looks almost new so I called the dealer and they won't even check it out since I just bought the van. It's been serviced by the dealer since I bought it. Aftermarket from now on!

Hello, the Thule rack is plug and play on the CRV. I have been using it for years and had zero issues. They are priced higher but it’s worth the extra cost because the strap does not break and metal does not bend You could find used ones on market place for a lower cost. . No, I kept using good gas and add gumout high mileage cleaner to the fuel Once in a while. I do mostly highway driving, I think that if you do a lot of city driving, these MSX can carbon up a bit. Also, i hear that the 2007-2009 don’t burn oil and the 2010-3013 burn oil.

Hi, yes I always try to use a new crush washer. In emergency case you could flip it around one time. I always pick up about 5 or 10 washers at the dealer and keep them in the garage. I don’t trust the ones sold on amazon and ebay. Thanks for watching!!!
