I love this putter. It does have a little bit of fade, but not a lot. I still put it as a point and shoot disc. I really liked the feel and decided to give it a try. 30 minutes later I got an ace with it at my local course.

Great review. That 6" of snow and the cold for the next 10 days are really putting damper on my DG plans. Got to play Acorn and Brooklyn Park Central before the weather hit

The drone is more over stable.

just threw a personal best with a Champion Tern (-2, 2). 360 ft (give or take Google earth and playing field painted lines). I found it flies just like my 3yo Champion Beast without having to beat it in 3 years... Having said that, the Beast was overstable for me 3 years ago but I was only throwing 300 ft, so in 3 years it didn't really "Beat In) all that much, and I throw it probably 5-10 times a week, every week so a Champion Tern will probably beat in to a -2,1... If your prepared to beat it in, the Champion may be what you're looking for... If you can afford to replace a disc as it beats in, get the flippier plastic.

Great channel. I am trying to find the best forehand standing still under stable finesse disc. You mention there are other better choices. What do you suggest? I do okay with the a light weight innova manta. Sometimes the wind can mess with it though. Considering a heavier manta ir something else

This disc wants to go straight in its flight nature. But still has a slight nature to turn and fade thats very subtle

Honestly amazed we're just getting to this disc now, one of the best molds in disc golf. Love my 177g Halo Star.

The Mako3 is the best beginning/training disc ever

I only tried the older Kona star and they were very straight. Great vid

The champion Mako3 is my in the woods go to! I bag 2 of them. One that goes straight out to about 320’ on a little hyzer flip. The other more beat in for turnovers and shots that finish right.

Find the right plastic for your arm speed and it's a laser beam. So easy to throw and it goes long.

I'm content with the Star Mako3 yet I'm now tempted to pick up a Halo Mako3 just to round out my mids!

Halo champion Mako3 is absolutely money. Much more torque resistant than the star variant but still only has minimal fade. Wish they weren't limited run

Ive bagged a Mako3 since day 1 over picking this game up. I have times where i think… maybe ill try something else…. But i doubt that will ever happen 👌 love this disc

If anyone is looking for an excellent Overhead roller... Try a Cosmic Neutron Tesla (probably the heavier the better). Throw it at about 80deg Anhyzer into the ground 20ish ft out (with practice you can extend that out but close is safe),,, pref in tail or no wind. I can get mine out about 280ft, near dead straight then it nearly just falls over if you got the angle right. Interesting tip... In crosswind.. .Throw a roller to land top to the wind.. but leaning AWAY from the wind... This allows the wind to blow the legs out of the disc but that sits it up... (otherwise it just blows the feet out from under the disc and it turns sharply into the wind and falls flat on its face.) I can also nearly drop the Tesla at my feet OH and still get 50ft rolls on hard short grass. The Tesla is my prized utility disc... A forehand that goes straight then almost as if it had forgotten to turn, slams on the brakes and fades hard. 45deg Anhyzers will fade 90deg to 45 Hyzer... Vertical Hyzer bombs come back down vertically... Bend over and flick it backspin to go out through ankle high gaps under hedges, through inch-wide gaps, and scream to a stop about 10 ft out. Also a great FH tomahawk out of trees with narrow vertical gaps.

Have you tried a Latitude 64 Limited Edition 10 Year Anniversary Gold Orbit Diamond. Mine was my 'Turn Right' disc for a RHBH dominated arsenal. The Rollo I have thrown actually felt more tame... (Both beaten by my 135g Starlite Boss that does a 360 if tomahawked (that thing flips over from near vertical Hyzers if thrown full strength) I have a pair of new Rollo's to try from my "Disc Bank" (he buys far too many discs then decides on a change without throwing most of them(other than the odd test))

The Mamba really is better than the Trail. (At least at 4400’ elevation). I use a max weight Champ Mamba and Halo Mamba. The flight is more consistent on multiple angles. It’s more versatile.

Keep them coming man! Love your approach to showcasing discs. If you haven’t considered it yet, could we maybe get a review for the new Discmania TD, in both S Line and Swirly S Line. I’ve heard there’s a bit of difference between them, might make for a fun video.

Fun fact - There is actually two different molds for the Tactic. The normal NEO, EXO and the razor claw 1.. The razor claw 2 and 3 are tactic PRO molds, they are slightly deeper/taller to give abit more over-stability. You can also see that in the side by side comparison of the NEO and the Meta ones. Apparently this was done for Eagle as he wanted more stability.

Where in MN are you? I’m just north of the metro area. The best thing out of my GP box was an R2 Reactor and a backup L2 Hex. Nothing else made the bag.

I wholeheartedly AGREE with the Mamba. For me, the trail was so so stable, even at a lower 169 grams! The gorgon was actually amazing for me but the Mamba can really do everything. I have a 166 gram Champ that will turn but still uphold low speed fade and a 170 gram Gstar that is a hyzer flip monster.

I applaud the call on the Trail. It’s the disc of the year, if you have the arm speed to throw it. Otherwise it’s just another stable control driver that doesn’t turn. The insanity flies for me like the Trail does for dudes with faster arms.
