Would you mind sharing more about the repairs. Was it the entire gearbox replaced with a new one. Was it the comfortmatic version. what was the cost of parts and labour? thanks and good luck on the adventure

Very unfortunate for you to suffer this after the gearbox incident. But it has got me thinking about my own preparedness for a campervan fire....my small fire extinguisher and fire blanket is probably not enough....food for thought. Hope that you continue travelling despite the setbacks. Jerry

We used Tappers to upholster a U shape lounge layout in our Transporter T6. Excellent service and really good quality work. Definitely recommend Richard and Tappers.

The main important thing you are all ok, Betty can be repaired at a later date, things could have been a lot worse, stay strong all you, move on to the your next trip, chin up guys.

You are a wonderful family, but sadly don’t have much good luck 😢we’re really sorry to hear about the fire. Why don’t you set up buy me a coffee like other people do? I know a cup of coffee won’t help loads but people can buy you a coffee if they would like to. Even if you don’t buy coffees it’s a little towards some repairs. I’m so glad nobody was hurt. I’m quite paranoid about fires since a small camping cooker gas canister exploded on my husband and actually set him and the living room on fire. Even though he was literally on flames he still put the fire out this was 42 years ago but I’m still paranoid. Please look at setting up a page where folk can help you guys if they wish to. Glad your all safe, We had a caravan fire in Spain, Faulty grill in the oven. Not nice as you are well aware, However it can be replaced unlike loss of Life. Enjoy your adventures more to see and do, Your memories after the event will take the bad away.🌈☀😇

Well just binge catching up and loving the style of content, and a couple of observations 1, your children are a credit to you, well behaved and not wanting this that and t’other👍 2, They Never seem to be bored or bothered by all the sight seeing and seem to be interested and I love the way they participate in the vids👍 Well we have subscribed and will keep watching, glad the gearbox is back to normal👍👍

Old vid I know (just found you and catching up)👍 Re the alarm, you have to disarm it then it will give you the number of flashes as to which zone was triggered! If it was say 5 flashes then another 5 that would mean that your inside sensor has triggered etc, different number of flashes for different zones, but you DO have to disarm first to then get the flashes👍👍 We have the same alarm👍 Enjoying the content atm👍

throwing trash in the nature never been part of any culture, it s the lack of education and awerness. and sometimes seeing trash in the beach coast is due to rivers bring it there by rivers after raining days. Our culutre and religion teach us the preservation of the environment though.
