Well I'm like 59 now and I know a man who is an IKTOMI. HE'S MY EX. And it's true he likes to cause trouble and drama and sit back and watch and laugh. Anyway back in 2017. I and a friend parked by the Poplar river. The grass kind of moved when we put it in park. I took binoculars I focused in on the grass I see I see that there's this little man looking at me from behind the blade of grass. It looked exactly like my ex. I can see myself in his face. It's a wonderful strange feeling. I always feel like I am part spirit and part alien...and I can "talk" to animals. I don't fit in because I am too straight forward, and yet I am too jovial too - or thats what people say at least. I think If I would have gotten to know my Chippewa Cree family of North Dakota, I wouldnt feel so strange. I think maybe my puropse is supposed to be that a of a vessel to hold important truths and to share information through words and art. But in this current culture, they tell me I talk too much...I'm too headstrong...too straight forward...too idealistic...too sensitive...too generous... "Just worry about yourself" they say. How can I just worry about myself without also worrying about you? How can I be too sensitive? We are all just fractions of one whole spirit. The one thing people never call me is a liar, though. I don't understand how people can call me the crazy one. They are the ones that can't see beyond themselves, and really should be doing more than just taking and taking and crossing their fingers that everything will continue on going well for them. Even if they are comfortable now with more food than they could ever eat, and their belongings and safe warm homes and places in society...their souls aren't comfortable. They may not understand why...but it isn't good for humans to live in a world so emotionally disconnected from one another. That's why we are anxious and depressed and ungrateful. Respect is a way of being, not a luxury afforded to those who can prove they deserve it. Nobody respects me other than my two children. That's the most important thing I can do, is to respect them and teach them to respect all... but I get so sad and lonely sometimes. I get frustruated that nobody hears me
