@@StreetMotoZ There’s nothing like getting out on the track! I’m running Dunlop Sportmax Slicks (120/75, 180/65) on my CBR600RR, great tires.
@@jonathanjunleenice, I read that they need tire warmers. I am going to try out Michelin GP2s. Supposed to be 50% street 50% track and don't need tire warmers.
@@StreetMotoZ Yeah, the Dunlop Slicks require tire warmers. I don't have personal experience with the Michelin GP2s, but if they're anything like the Pirelli Supercorsas, a couple warm up laps should do the trick.

it has too much mid-range. not a fan of that exhaust. it should have deeper and higher pitches. it sounds muffled like in another room.

Im in Idaho, no tracks, planning a trackday at pir or ridge in the next 2 months. Be first time tracking my RC51. Used race at pir, never bern at the ridge yet. Love corners but knowing pir so well. Tough to decide.. Cheers.
Can never go wrong with The Ridge, should be especially fun on that RC51.
OH! I was blessed to see this as I was at track entry working the other two videos from this day, but at the beginning of this video, it captures a guy with a red shirt and black pants who was running track entry for this session. His name is Freddy and he was suddenly killed in an accident last Sunday. If you have any other footage from track entry of any conversations with him, I would love to see it. RIP my friend.
Wow...I'm so sorry to hear the tragic news...my condolences to his family. After combing through the uncut footage, I DID capture additional footage talking to him while I was coming through the hot pit to report the cone on the track. I'll upload the uncut footage shortly and reply back with details.

That was some good riding man. After Jody passed you , you seemed to kick it up a notch ,and was riding really well through traffic too. Looked like great fun.

Man this is an old video, look at the quality! But from what I remember, I believe with that specific exhaust the drone was slightly lessened.

The z4 stock was intended basically for driving round, cruising, and for the businessman to look like a prick. The M they dumped a bunch of electronics out and gave it one of the best Straight sixes in history (S54 csl lightweight model =P) and to top it all of they tuned the suspension and installed a "sport" button which makes the throttle almost scarily aggressive. =P
As an owner, it is hard to make clean shifts with the aggressive throttle. Fully agree.
Make sure to do a CDV delete if you drive it sporty at all. The valve was intended to create delay in the clutch to keep you from accidentally burning rubber in lead footed starts. Its what causes that bouncing if you hit the throttle a little before the clutch engages. Every owner has basically agreed its a stupid valve that destroys the clutch. It causes very dangerous yanking and bouncing if you screw up your clutching. Its REALLY cheap to fix it, and the bypass valves are chump change. GET IT DONE, and you'll find less fear behind your lead foot.

The newer bikes just have some emissions mumbo jumbo in em. It can easily be tuned out. They're definitely not any less capable.

Woah! I had to do a double take at that license plate! Just checking out different Ducati videos and came across this one... This is my bike now. It is still going strong Jon and I'm taking great care of it. I have since added a Competetion Werkes fender eleminator and integrated tail light. We moved to CA, so I actually get to ride it once in a while too!
