I am a bird photographer based in Virginia. I used Canon for 12 years before I switched to Nikon. I also use third party lenses to showcase their performance. My story with birds goes back to my childhood in Morocco, where I grew up. I was fascinated with how birds lived their lives parallel to ours! I am more amazed these days with how birds can navigate continents without a GPS! An extraordinary feat! The more I observe birds, the more I get to know about them. My plan is to photograph birds in my immediate neighborhood and post a slideshow of my best shots for my subscribers to enjoy. I will also try to talk about my way of approaching bird photography. Furthermore, I will occasionally review cheap equipment to help my viewers decide whether it is worth it to purchase a given item. Thanks a lot for your support.

Anytime I want to photograph Ospreys I head over to Roaches Run Waterfowl Sanctuary, Arlington. This lagoon is a great place to photograph Ospreys and many other birds. I used Nikon Z9 and NIKKOR 180-600mm. Thanks everyone for stopping by this channel.

When I visit Morocco, my first place is often Oued-Zem. I particularly like the couple of parks that are in town: Lake of Oued-Zem and the Green Zone. Birds congregate here unlike anywhere else! I start my walk around the sunrise time and leave about 10 a.m. I used NIKKOR 180-600mm paired with Z9. My next piece will be about songbirds of Oued-Zem. Thanks a lot for your support!

Hi friend, I shoot the lens wide open at f6.3 t 600mm. My editing is very minimal ! Cropping, adding and reducing the exposure, that’s it! Thanks and good luck !

Domestic, aka store bought commercially bred turkeys, are generally unable to fly. Genetic manipulation by humans made them too heavy/awkward to fly. All that extra weight on the breast makes them aerodynamically bound to the ground. Or so my turkey raising relative tells me. Makes sense. 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦

It's a great lens but tbh, I'd take the Samyang 85mm F1.2. But If I wanted more reach, this monster is coming along.
Rokinon 85mm f1.2 canon mount is the best I have ever used! Sometimes I think about getting a copy and just keep it! Just a terrific piece of glass!

@@elphotography3015 - I use the Z8 and have the 1.4X teleconverter, also my older FX 24-70 and 70-200 f2.8 lenses. Trying out macro photography with the 105Z macro f2.8. Planning on having a great summer. Keep your videos coming - they are great!
Also, do you have experience using the F mount 14-24 F2.8 on the Z camera? I have the F to Z adapter for using my other F mount lenses. I can purchase the F mount Nikon lens used in excellent condition for about $640, which is nearly 1/3 the price of a new one.

I really didn’t do much to it! I used the slow motion option of the video mode. Pictures were taken in A mode. ISO 800@f6.3. Thanks.

Great footage Elarbi, especially the slow motion sections. I have this lens now, on a Z8 or Z6ii and I'm just testing it and getting to know it. It's no 400 f2.8 but it is more than acceptably sharp with gorgeous colours everywhere, all focal lengths and apertures. My copy also seems to work surprisingly well with the 1.4 teleconverter, the sweet spot being f10 but anything f9-f11 is great, diffraction showing at f16 and smaller. Can I ask you please, did you shoot your video at 4k/120? Again, thanks for the lovely, very interesting video, I'd love to visit Morocco especially the Berber territories up in the Atlas Mountains. I have the 180-600mm on order with B&H...waiting and waiting. Already received the 1.4X teleconverter which will make it a 840mm lens. Going to couple it with my Z8, which I love. So, the wait continues...

I purchased this lens for my Z6ii with ftz adapter and so far my results have been underwhelming. I realize that this is not the fault of the lens, but the operator. Any tips on how to properly use would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
When it comes to third party lenses, I only remember this Rokinon 135mm and the Rokinon 85mm f1.2 canon mount! Having said that, I had to slow down because of the manual focus. They were easy to achieve focus due to the chip design to confirm you have achieved focus. My friend, take your time and have fun doing it. You will certainly get there once you get the hang of it ! Aim your camera at your subject and keep rotating the focus ring until the small red focus square turns green, and you got it! Make sure you are using single focus point! Good luck !
Can the Z8 do 240 fps video in HD?
