I knew someone who owned a 1965 or 66 Jaguar E. He passed away a few years ago. He said you could only, really enjoy a Jag E if you liked working on it yourself. Not only that, you had to be satisfied knowing that you would spend more time "under the hood" doing repairs and maintenance, then you would ever spend behind the wheel. Truly, a car for masochists. No wonder so many Jaguar E's had their engines replaced with Chevy 350's. The wiring harness often also had to be replaced, because of numerous electrical system issues.
