@@Shardik2009 Thanks! I have a LOT of seat time on the simulator on this track, which helped immensely. Octane Learning has been really inconsistent for me. Even with 94 (highest grade we get here) I’ve never been able to get it past 18psi. Even if I follow one of the procedures to the letter, half of the time it doesn’t work. It seems really random, which is frustrating when trying to chase and compare lap times. Most often I fuel up directly before going to the track, leaving me little time to do the procedure (highway driving has been the one that works best for me).

To reset boost: Try to fill up at least 10k from the track. Short-shift as much as possible on the way to way. I managed 20….but kinda useless since now I drive at 8/10ths!! Haha! I have friends who started with Sim racing and they do well! But driving in the wet, is no joke. I’m a rain driver and have seen a lot of not so good things! Better to stay off slick curbs and don’t lift.

@@Shardik2009 I’ll give that a shot. I typically fill up either in Saint Janvier or Saint Jerome before going to Icar, so should leave me enough space. I love driving in the wet. I’m not a perfect driver by any means, but it does really show who can drive and who can’t. Was super happy about the fact that I was able to get consistent lap times throughout the day.

@@sleepy.a3195 Thx,I had a quick look at the Tremblant video. Will go over it properly tonight.I'm also running RS4s.Its funny because I was using NT01 with my E36 and Rs4 for rain. I joined the big club or RS4 users..in the dry. But have news that the Nankang CRS are the ones we have to use.

Also, you can adjust the N mode widgits, I keep mine up to watch the temps....because these engines seem to run a bit hot.

@@CamelSmokes23 I looked at a GR as well. Nearly went for one as I live in eastern canada and could really have used the AWD system in the winter, but it came out too expensive, and the rear diff has a severe overheating issue on track, which really turned me off.

This is a way nicer car than a Corolla

@@mharro88 in some aspects yes, but the Corolla has a lot going for it as well. That AWD system is no joke especially in regions that get proper winters.

@@mitnickmitnick1378 most world class professionnals don’t like motion, period. Not just D-BOX, but any motion system. However, look at all the high end turnkey providers. Advanced SimRacing, Podium 1, Trak Racer, Vesaro etc.. notice something in common? Everyone uses D-BOX. There is nothing that matches it, at all. Not Qubic, not DOF Reality, not SimRig, not CXC, certainly not NLR.. The only one that came remotely close was Sigma Integrale. It’s not that I like it, it’s that it has been proven time and time again, importantly by people that have tried everything, that it is the best out there.

6000 for motion sim 2000 for the wheel and base 200 for e break can’t tell what pedals but normally in this range they are like 800-1000 3 monitors depending on the monitor could be 800-1000 frame for rig 1000

What is after some tests/setup your optimal FOV setting in such configuration? I’m considering triple G5 monitors as well for simracing. Thanks :)

Yeah, I was planning on getting the G5 Odyssey 34 to start then add two more as I get a computer that can run them (playing GT7 on PS5 now). It’s tough to find a consensus on monitors. Thought 34’s would be too small but this almost looks too big. My sim coming is a P1-X from Sim Labs with a built in triple attachment. Wanted to buy one screen and then add more when I get the computer and start ACC/iRacing.

None whatsoever, and we’ve built over 200+ triple G5 systems at work. Make sure G-Sync is off (nvidia control panel) and that the screens are set to gaming mode in the highest refresh rate available. G-Sync screws up a lot of things for some reason.
