Super interesting archetype and takes. Ive been working with folklore, and some overlap with swamp stories. Ive been using the Southern Gothic that has a little take of swamp energy and lore. But the deck i really think explore the repulsiness and this unknown lurking underneath, stagnant, latent, putride, archetype energies is the Dark Mirror oracle. It is a heavy deck and explore so well these concepts you put together. It’s inexpensive so if u dont have it yet, it’s worth to get. This video inspire me to work with it this month and the swamp archetype. Awesomr out of the box content❤

I agree, I really enjoy this deck. So each keyword underneath is offering two perspectives, seeing the bigger theme from a place of fear vs a place of love. So, in reflecting on the two like a spectrum, I see it as: where am I at in terms of embodying or experiencing the theme on my path? And what is authentic expression for me at this time, and does anything need to shift? My moon is in an air sign, and that's how she explained in the book too, so that's how I use them 🤗

I bought this deck a couple of years ago, after having it on my wishlist since it came out, and juat love it!!! Am happy and excited for you getting this deck. You won't be disappointed!!! I don't work with Hecate, but I understand why other witches who have this deck have said they will be working with it with Hecate. It definitely has that Vibe. To me it has that gentle Underworld Vibe to it and I work with this deck during the Autumn/Winter Season and Early Spring too.

I have this one as well, Hekate is always present with me. Yet to use it. Not called to yet, but very grateful it was created and that I have it for when the time calls for it

I also have Hecate, coming forward . I’ve seen her in signs then, more so with the full moon, being a darker feminine at this time.

If you haven't watched the youtube videos with the creator and artist explaining the cards and their journey making the deck, I highly recommend watching them. It's a series of videos and if I remember correctly they are quite long but well worth it. You can watch them on Sacred Tarot youtube channel and I believe the vidoes series is called" journey through the oracle the Hekatean Path." anywho, with all that said, I LOVE this deck.

Regarding the Devil card, some decks refer to as Horned God, which like Pan represents the primal within us. Both the energies that drive and enthuse us and when imbalanced can drive us into unhealthy behaviors.

I believe you are correct about Divinity being embodiments of earlier archetypes. I tend to think of them as the consciousness of those who ascended to a deeper state of being by representing that archetype and added to the collective of that archetype.

You look fabulous, as always😊. This looks like a really yummy deck! I tend to be intuitive and then like to read the guidebook to see what they say. I can get really frustrated that way too, because the art triggers something in me and the guidebook says something else. some decks I sack the guide book😂 or will rehome the deck

I got all the minor 7’s when I ordered my deck. They’re from her other deck Children of Litha. I think she just puts them in as an extra gift and a bit of an advertisement for the deck. I’ve only had my deck for about a month but it is very direct without being harsh. It’s a very meditative deck too. Makes me slow down and really consider the imagery and meaning of the card. When you can swing it, I’d recommend the grimoire. You get so much more information and the meaning behind the imagery, colors, info about the sigils, TONS of info. And of course it’s just as gorgeous as the deck. Great video thank you for sharing.
