That usually just means it comes with dell specific drivers.

windows 7 is kinda dangerous to use in 2024 it's being hacked by many hackers and I MISS WINDOWS 7

Thank you mate. I've also found keys for like 4 euros, but also the Windows 7 activation servers are down so the only way to activate the OS is to (as you showed) buy an OEM key and activate offline. Thanks for the info tho, would come in handy for me later

I kind of want to run Windows 7 on my old SFF that drops the DWM to basic and boots straight into a full screen Retroarch. Windows 7 performs better on that machine than Batocera does.

@@Joshuastrelaeff The Elitedesk G1 800 that I am talking about is a V Pro machine. No keys needed. I am trying Windows 10 IoT LTSC on it right now, and it just activated without interaction. It's still a little too heavy for my use. I am thinkin Windows 7 would be the best bet. I don't need it to do anything other than boot to Retroarch.
@sevenfacedsin that should work windows 7 is a good operating system and you can download legacy updates and it will install the security updates
