Hello there 👋 The finished size of the square for the hat measures around 3 3/4 X 4 1/4 Inches this varies slightly, depending on the type/brand of yarn used. Finished size for the hat is about 10” wide (measured in the middle of the hat - where the mushroom 🍄 granny squares are sewn together) 13" at its widest part (measured at the bottom/brim portion) and 8 1/4" high (this is measured when the hat is flattened in half - from top to bottom at the highest point) this also varies slightly, depending on the type/brand of yarn used 🤗

If you would like a smaller size - a smaller hook size worked well there! I hope that helps 🤗 Happy crocheting 🧶

I do not have exacts at this time, but I start with a 300g of Bernat Blanket yarn (for the main/red portion of the strawberry), and I still have a little more than half of the package left when the project is complete. 🤗 The top color would be even less than that, and the seeds can even be made with scraps 🧶
