THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH THIS IS SO HELPFULL, do you play electric guitar aswell? I think there are low to no tutorials about Bloodhail guitar configuration
Hey thanks!! So I did cover the bassline from Bloodhail: ruclips.net/user/shortsvR6cLUUVBKw?feature=share That said I'd definitely be down for trying out its guitar in a future short - stay tuned!

Nice !
One of the greatest, if not the greatest bands of all time and beyond
geniuses/pioneers/great sources of inspiration!
How on earth do you do it that fast?
@Meghanishappy thanks! Using nylon strings is a lot easier to pick then steel strings, so first I practice on the latter before playing the former - this helps speed wise:)
Sounds mysterious I like it
@@Hbm1923 much appreciated, thank you! Would recommend checking out the original track:)
Beautiful

Most underrated RUclips channel
This is a wonderful comment, thanks so much! Glad you like these ones specifically, they take some time to put together:)
What did your final version sound like? Is it in the video or is that just the original track?
Hey! So I usually feature the final version of the synth on these videos, this one is a rare exception. I have a hard time seeing why, as I got pretty close to the original track -- but that is indeed the OG track you can hear in the background
Is there any tutorial or music sheet for this song? Because I would love to learn this, but I’m just a beginner in playing piano but this sounds so great that I want to learn the piece.
Hey! I did this by ear mostly, but let me see if I can put something together - stay tuned:) fyi this has some pretty tough parts. It's is fun to play nonetheless
An excellent rendition
thanks! glad you enjoyed it!
Gorgeous song off a gorgeous album
thanks so much! very excited for her upcoming album!
I’m so attached to this song, it’s so pure, so rare and you managed to pay tribute to it through your playing of the piano… I’m amazed and can’t wait to learn it too ! Congrats
This is an amazing comment, thanks! I always love coming back to this song:) happy playing!
do you use a p bass or a jazz bass?
I'm playing a very low-cost p bass
Cool!
thanks!
I finally learned this it was hell and my hand is on fire but it's so fun to play. Good job! ❤️
Hey that's wonderful, thanks for sharing! Yeah my hand was also not cooperating when I first tried getting this pattern right hahah, but now it's such a cool one to come back to:)
Never knew it took so much work to make that
Yeah! Tbh this isn't how the original sound was made in the soundtrack. Daniel Pemberton processed an elephant sample to make the noise, this was shown in some BTS footage you can find online. I just tried to recreate it from a synth, which was tricky but I got a lot of useful information from a tutorial Eric Bowman did for another theme from the Spiderverse films.
@thomas_bingham oh that makes what you did even cooler
@@ice-nb3cz i appreciate it thanks!
Hello Thomas I'm a 57 year old Marine Vet and started writing music 3 years ago to help with my anxiety, could you give me your opinion on some of my songs, Full Moon Night is my first song about the being at war, took 30 years to let it out, you can find it and other songs on my youtube page, thank you
😍🔥🔥
Very cool!
うまい
Felt that
Are those synths or guitars at the beginning ?
Hello! First layer is a heavily reverbed sample, with some underlying guitar ebows and harmonium combo that fades in. After 0:40 it's only the guitars and harmonium.
@ it’s an absurdly great opening track. I’ve had your album on repeat in the car. I’d love to see a production video or any kind of work flow video if you ever get the chance. Your work is awesome.
@@MrYodaone902 a comment like yours is worth gold, so glad you appreciate the music! As far as work flow goes - most of these take several months to make, not due to any complexity they may/may not have but I like giving my personal projects some time to grow, when I can afford that. If I had to boil it down, a process I usually return to comes out the performance of a central instrument that I then create textures around, either with other instruments, synths, foley or the heavy processing of that central instrument. Take this first track: that was a harmonium "chorale"-like phrase I recorded, and then added layers of instrumentation. I structure my tracks mostly around a climax, and am guided by an intuition on when it feels appropriate to reach it. A lot of the ways I process my sounds are influenced by noise/ambient/glitch, so I do like fair bits of distortion and glitch plugins (some of the Soundtoys stuff works great, alongside others like Byome by Unfiltered Audio) and just patch working in my DAW. This is roughly how I'd go about many tracks, but I'll be sure to keep the idea of a workflow video when I release new music. Until then -- thanks for your time:)
Он был одним из лучших открытий в моей жизни.
Yes! A truly inspiring artist!
a nice " pop - up " surprise please get the new book " If Nick Drake Came to My House' by Mackenzie Crook. if you actually do have a soul my opinion only . p.s. great chops to this random plucker . There is a lot of us out here ... Spread the legacy
Oh! I've not heard of this book, thanks for the recommendation:)
