Last minute 4WD and camping trip to National Park, North Island, New Zealand. Filmed completely on my phone since I forgot to grab any of my camera gear in the rush to pack up. Met a great group of people and had a blast even though the trails were very dry and dusty (until the last hour) Hope to meet you all again for some more adventures!

The ol' Wanga road always looks the same, rutted, boggy and shitty, fall for two days slips that test your nerves. Good times had in there.

Dude has a death wish standing that close to a recovery, might think different when you see a rope go through a windscreen.
I'm not the safety officer just the cameraman.. grown men make their own choices I guess 🤷 they know the risks

That float handle set looks decent for the price! The fountain was a little sad though 😂

We are with the Wanganui 4x4 club but this track is controlled by the Wellington group
Went through 1 week after you guys but in the wet and towing a camper trailer. Certainly a difference track when its dry 👍🏻

What does the 4x4 club do?
They organise the trips and get permission from land owners to get us access to new places. You can check out the Facebook page if you like. There's more things they do obviously but they can tell you better than I can

It's all private land. Once a year they do a charity fundraiser that allows access
