the big cat HATES the baby cats
Mango the orange cat hates the foster kittens. she will do everything to avoid them, but also wants to keep her eye on them. We let them out into the living room for the first time and she wasn’t pleased to have so many little kitties in her house. So she is just watching them from the stairs being grumpy.

when the shelter gave her to us to foster the eye had gotten infected and had scar tissue, we were able to get that under control but sadly she still couldn’t see out of it so they decided to remove it. She is recovering now!

Awwww your mango looks just like my mango who’s in my thumbnail i had my sweet mango for 12 yrs before he went to the rainbow bridge - he’s the reason i love orange cats so much - he slept with me every night and was a lap cat and never met a stranger - hopefully your mango will come around to the new babies 😻😻🐾🧡🐾🧡🐾

they do this because they know you will pick them up and move them. (and probably cuddle them while you do it.)
I've had cats that did that. They not only like sitting on them... they love being IN them😂❤

For those unaqare cats licking their lips the way this cat is can be a sign of nervousness or distress. This cat does NOT seem comfortable around this kitten but kudos for him/her not outright attacking the kitten
Hopefully indoctrinating this old cat to like this kitten works ....my little dog friend in my icon to the left never did accept a young dog that was brought into the family.....even to her very end she never tolerated the other....they fought over food etc etc....the younger one tried to make friends but she just wasn't gonna accept it....she definitely had a mind of her own...
