Great video. Thanks. I just ordered this for my 2017 Road Glide special.

I bought the same set up for my Suzuki: I had to reposition the signal lights to the license plate area, bolts for the bag frame needed a hex on the inside of the fender… took me an hour of contorting with my fingers and a hex wrench (shoulda just bought new bolts), then the leather joint was too thick to get the seat back on… had to modify the seat… then the bags were dangling too much so had to drill holes for cable ties. 3-4 hours later I was done. You… less than a half an hour… LUCKY BASTID!!

I'm 5'11. Have 14" factory 47 bars. Would you recommend 6.5 or 8.5?

What bag guards are those? I h ave the exact same bike and looking to install bag guards on it. Really don’t want to take a saw to the origional bag support bars as I have seen some people have to do with other bag guard companies. I really like the way this went together and looks great as well. Thanks for the video. Keep the rubber side down.

Tip: remove seat before washing & wipe it down by hand. They are not waterproof just water resistant

Dude I had the same expression you had when you first got on the road and hit it; this thing pulls like crazy and gets up to speed fast! Dang fun bike to ride for sure! I really test rode the bike by mistake, I was test driving a 2022 Road Glide with a 131ci kit and the salesman that I went out with was riding the RG ST. I was behind him on the highway and he took off and I looked down and I was doing 100mph! When we pulled over I asked him what bike he was riding and he told me it was an RG ST. We switched up on the way back to the shop and I totally enjoyed the ST and made up my mind right there to get the bike! I picked up the bike a few weeks ago and have some 14 inch Factory-47 apes and dual Cobra slip-on mufflers due to go on it next week.

I removed the antenna and back fender screws to give me room and also installed motorcycle drop guards
