Grizzly Bears in Grand Teton & Elk
Просмотров 172Год назад
Video of a Grizzly bear sow and what appeared to be a yearling cub. To large to be this years cub. There were actually two cubs with this sow but I only got video of the the one cub with the sow. The other one was farther off so you couldn't get them together. Notice the Elk in the background. The bears just seemed to ignore them. I couldn't believe how close the Elk and bears were. At one poin...

Rocking Horse Build (Short Version 4min)

You should sell cardboard or paper templates for this
I've debated about that for sure. Tried to do 3D drawings but that didn't really work out. I did take some photos of the templates over a gridded cutting board but when I put them in a PDF I wasn't happy with the scaling. Thanks for watching
You did a good job. Personally, I think it was a little overkill using thick wood. A child doesn't weigh that much. I just used several screws to hold the leg on, not a bolt. but all and all you did a good job.
It's patterned off of one my grandpa made for my mom that's lasted 60 years. So ya its built like a tank.
slow it down. no good to me fast.
There is a long version for those interested on building one. Check my site. Agree this version won't help a builder much!
I have enjoyed watching you video of making the rocking horse. I will give a go in a few months. Thank you for sharing it.
Thanks for commenting, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. My Grandkids still ride it fairly often and it will last for a long long time! I've been thinking that a quick way to do quick and dirty plans would be for me to take photos of the templates I have on top of a cutting mat that has 1 inch squares. Those could be printed out and used to create your own templates by ensuring that the squares are 1 inches or at least all the same. If your interested in that let me know and I can try to take the photo's and make them available. Probably as a link to this video.
@@callline7183 I would like these as well. Very much appreciated. John. John.leitch@sympatico.ca
@@callline7183 If you are able to show the templates on a squaed grid I would also like to see them please.
Pls sir sent me template and size
I saw my house in this video!
Was wondering if you could post the plans so i could create one that looks the same?
I have physical templates but no detailed plans that I could post. Sorry. I've thought about creating plans but I haven't done something that could be shared electronically.
@@callline7183 The plans are on Ubild.com. cost a little $$$
I will try to do it with Woodglut plans.
I have been looking for a detailed guide on how to make a rocking horse for a long long time and i love the classical apperance of this one. I will definetly build this. Thanks for your time and sharing this with us.
Lovely build
Hello, I watched your snow fort video and could not comment there so I wanted to ask a question here about it. Once you have the ball covered with snow, how do you deflate it to get it out of the fort? Thanks, Jenn
The balls have a valve that you use to inflate and deflate the ball. When you cover the ball with the tarp you have to make sure you know where that valve is, by pointing it at a tree or car or something that you will remember and keep it lower down to the ground so you can dig the snow out until the valve is accessible, then you open the valve and let the air out. We actually suck the air out with the pump in reverse. Thanks for letting me know the comments were turned off!!
Thank you for this video, I’ve been looking for a step by step guide on how to build a rocking horse for my grandchildren and so far this is the only one I could find. With time on my side and a ton of projects to work on, I say: “Thanks A Million...”
Great guy right there
Nice vid, really miss that property, so many memories.
Hello, can you tell me the coordinates of this lake?
The wash is hidden gem in the desert. I haven’t seen it in flooded conditions.
I've lived here fore 16 years and only seen it 3 or 4 times. Thanks for commenting.
This was great! Thanks for posting these!
Beautiful!
thanks for the video it was awsome. ron
i really love this vid i saw my friends school and ive never experienced this wash being flooded and i really love this perspective i love my hometown.
Thanks for the video. The trail is right next to me so it was good to see a little bit more of the area with a different perspective.
Your welcome. It's a cool perspective!
where does this start exactly in QC? I live near the Walmart in QC and want to ride this.
The western end of the trail starts just south of the Power Road and Queen Creek Road intersection. You could park in the Safeway parking lot there, but I would recommend going to the Desert Mountain Park located at Hawes Road and Ocotillo which is more or less in the middle of the trail you can ride to either end (east or west) and then back to the park and there is good parking and facilities.
At least the plane didn't run out of battery when it flew over the rim!
