Thank you for this message. I'm about to get an angiogram and I've already been told I'll probably need bypass and aneurysm surgery. Staying positive has always been a challenge for me so I will use your example in the time ahead.

I had open heart surgery 6 months ago and my depression is severe and limiting my life. Antidepressants aren't helping. People think i should just snap out of it but i can't
the #1 thing that works is I wake up and tell myself I am not gonna be a victim. I wake up and go to the gym that seems to help me. Also don't be afraid to reach and cause there is quiet a few of us. so reach out and share with others and lets help each other. but remember we are survivors and we are here to help others who are scared and think they can't make it. I have something called P.M.A. Try to smile and remember you have made it and will continue to make it. big hugs my friend and lots of love
