I stumbled upon this little gem with the phantom guardian spirit type. Following a strong attack teleport, pressing the ki pulse button will cause you to do a quick dash back and emit a shockwave. This movement apparently has iframes.

I was demonstrating how easy it was to build damage in Nioh 1. Using 2 buffs I applied chaos to Onryoki and... well you can see for yourself what happened. :)

Were the secret combos in nioh 1 ??
I'm not sure I understand. What secret combos?
I will definitely play Katana or Dual Swords but I just CAN'T decide if I should go Light or Heavy Armor. Any suggestions?
I prefer Agility A (30.0% weight or lower) due to reduced ki consumption for both attacks and evasion. But Agility B is good too (70.0% or less). That gives you more survivability as well.
What weapons do you think combo well with katana cause I'm still stuck tryna decide what to go with for my secondary

When I play dual swords I only use medium stance, gotta switch between them 😂
I would encourage it! Duals really get better when you switch stances and use all of their moveset.
That target switching is accurately used. Smooth multi-enemies battle in Nioh which rarely seen in mainstream players' channels. AMAZING!

At 3:29 where does that buff come from
If you're referring to the attack buff, it's from an effect that I have. It's called "Increase Attack (Winded Enemy)" If you're referring to the free block buff, that's from doing a full ki pulse in mid stance.

The Katana video was so awesome, you know I had to check out the next! Haha Really am glad and lucky I found these guides, bc as a Katana user, I feel I've been maybe using it wrong in certain situations, which of course makes the game harder, even tho it shouldn't be. I found this delightful video of yours JUST as I began my NG+ run. So I will try to approach my enemies in a bit of a different way now. And maybe even pick up the dual swords, bc I've been very interested in trying them ever since I saw how masterfully Xelod uses them. Also, liked and subbed with noti's on, dude! Splitstaff may be a bit as there are quite a few requests for the next couple weapons. However, with the Wo Long demo coming up I'll do my best to continue with the series before switching over to Wo Long.
Hey can you drop a video of you doing dlc ever lasting duty. I've completed the game using weapons only with bosses but just can't do it.
Hey. Honestly, it wouldn't be a fun fight. It would be a majority of me waiting for parry opportunities getting rid of toyotomi and then killing 9 tail. I absolutely hate that mission. It's the worst mission this and the next game have.
where do these people find so many skill points? Do locks become farmable in NG+ cycles?
Not exactly. On your first and second play through you're locked to a maximum proficiency level of 30. iirc, once you unlock dream of the demon, your proficiency max raises. Weapons max at level 60 proficiency. However, each new playthrough allows you to pick up locks in the locations they were at in previous playthroughs.
7:29 what does apply chaos mean?
Chaos is referring to the 'confusion' stat when you apply 2 or more elements. However, confusion isn't the correct term to what is actually happening. It would be more akin to chaos or discord. It's just what I refer to that status ailment as.

Any weapon tbh. Try them and see which weapons feel good with the spear.
