Travel The World With Your Kids

Travelling with your kids can be challenging, but the perspective they gain on the world they live in is priceless. We started these videos as a school project to make up for some lost class time due to one of our trips, what we discovered in producing the video is that the kids learned more about the places we were visiting, and it became a much more meaningful experience for them as a result. Not to mention it is a great way to create lasting memories together. We hope you enjoy watching these videos as much as we enjoy making them. Cheers.

Eating at IKEA is a great alternative to fast food when travelling. IKEA always seems to have a restaurant with a similar global menu. The food is inexpensive and good quality. The restrooms are clean, and the stores themselves are a comfortable place to escape the tourist crowd. No tourists at IKEA, just locals. Don't forget to Like, Share, and Subscribe.

Wow 7 years ago! The Kids must be all grown up
yes... a lot has changed since that video was made.... the kids are 20 and 25, and my Wife has past away after a 3 year fight with cancer...I'm grateful we had the chance to make those memories. Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to comment.

Pede Meyer You also got it wrong, Black Forest is called “ Schwarzwald “ not Schartswald.
@@eckhardtfrost3815 Nevertheless: In English it is called "Black forest". But you are right: There are some mistakes in this video. So - like Pede Meyer writes - the visited town is not "Freiberg", but "Freiburg" what means a great difference in the second part of the name: "-berg" means "mountain", "-burg" means "castle". As he also said.

Great video! I've taken my kids there a few times and it's one of their best childhood memories, as well as mine.
Very informative and a detailed tour..none of the other videos that I have watched so far about black forest have the information on inserting a euro coin to make the giant cuckoo clock perform!! 👍

Thanks so much !!! You won't be alone on a bike in the Black Forest that is for certain. It is an extremely popular destination for riders from around the globe. The Black Forest High Road (B500) is a great place to start, but there are many more great roads to explore. If you're looking for a place to use a a base of exploration the place we stayed was fantastic. It is run by a British expat family and they truly made our trip much better with their advise. You should be able to find it on Booking.com or one of the other online sources. I hope you have the ride of a lifetime ! Cheers !

Hi Smiths, just wanted to say thank you for subscribing. We tried the Hasenhorn Coaster in Todtnau, kids absolutely loved it. We also visited Imst, Austria and tried the Alpine Coaster there, very similar but much longer, about 3.5km I think. Ooh, Imst Austria sounds really cool. We'll be living in Austria next year, so we're definitely going to try that one. Looking forward to your Austrian videos. We've done Salzburg, Innsbruck, and Linz, and have driven around, but we definitely want to do some hiking and see more of the countryside!

You are absolutely correct. We were staying in Rotenbach at Landgasthof Rossle and Jane, the owner, recommended that we see it while we were there. We made an afternoon out of it, found a quiet little restaurant outside town, had lunch, then drove to Schluchsee for a swim. Everything is close together so it's an easy trip. Thanks for watching !
