Its funny, I ordered myself this exact kit 2 days ago because I am wanting to get into leather working. I like to use cheap tools at first and if I use them enough, then I replace them with better things. Thank you for posting this so i can see these tools in use!

That LV material is garbage. It's a coated canvas.

I really love the idea of using a cover for the pull tab to keep it from getting frayed. You should glue a piece of leather to the metal hammer so you can have a soft face so as to not leave a mark.

LV isn’t leather anyway 😂, I’ve cut up real and fake ones there both synthetic material, and as a leather worker for years now I was 100% against sewing machines and edge paint, and chrome tan leather. As life goes on and you notice clients don’t really pay for premium leather you will develop a mentality of give them what they want to pay for and you will find really good chrome tan and the know how of really knowing how to edge paint will turn the exact same product for a fraction of the price for you and the customer. Wait, if you get a comment of someone who doesn't care for your design, are you going to run to reddit whining again? When you open comments you open yourself to opinions. If you want to live in an echo chamber, then turn off all comments. Not everyone is going to love your designs. I for one, do not care for the color or the design. Doesn't mean other people will not. It's also not a reason to be a drama queen complaining about the opinions of others.

The destitute. Only someone who has nothing would want a wallet that carries nothing. Four cards and a bill slot? Looks like another "minimalist" wallet to me. May as well have made a card wallet. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer here. I don't see the point in a wallet like this that carries nothing. Guys don't buy wallets like women buy purses. We don't buy wallets for different occasions. We carry the same wallet every day. That bifold doesn't carry hardly anything. So if that is what a guy is going to carry every day, then they would want a card wallet, not a bifold IMO.

Safe to assume that things like keyrings, bifolds and small men's accessories sold, but not so much the totes and purses? I'd agree that more variety of popular products is good, but I would also think about "limited run" as well. Limited edition runs of popular products at elevated prices might be smart too. Think one of five or ten of something, like a marbled pattern bifold.
