I think it's a riff on the '80s U.S. anxiety about how Japanese businesses were outperforming American ones - except in this case it's not a company that's in danger of being 'lost' to Japan, it's the narrator's girlfriend
If this is from The Hell Collection that was released in 1993 and considering the title, could it be a track from "Mai The Psychic Girl"?
All that the liner notes from Russel say in the booklet are "A guy loses his girlfriend to a well-heeled businessman. And she gladly accepts". The publishing info is credited to 1993, but it could be from earlier since a demo of Singing In The Shower on the same album is credited to 1993 as well.
from what I can tell, its from around 92/93, as it matches the same percussion and guitar sample sounds as demos such as Love Can Conquer All.

Some vocals are just pitch shifted to help fill the frequency spectrum so the song doesn't feel "empty," so to speak.

I had a feeling this was the one, but I couldn’t find a download for it. They wanted you to purchase it lol I didn’t want to buy it if it wasn’t the one I wanted.
