Only one city in the country has more high school basketball state titles than New Haven. Detroit, Michigan. We're not far behind though. Add in our old original New England Tournament championships and the total increases by ten. BTW...we have 60 state championships and 10 New Englands for 70 total. Going into the 2016-17 season Hillhouse boys rank number one. Team returns everybody back from 2016 25-3 state Class LL title team. The girls are slightly down from their accustomed lofty heights but they'll be back. Don't ever doubt.
