I love this intro but i dont like the classes in the 2nd game. They are so dumb. Sacred 1 classes are absolute classic. Idk why they changed them but this is the reason ill never play this game. Rip dark elf and gladiator my favorites

I'm sorry but nostalgia can turn anything into gold, this is... pretty bad The song is good tho
And why exactly it is bad? (I played it some time ago (at some point just for sake of experimenting started a few saves with different races, but still I mostly keep to my main one), but just a short while - not because it was bad, I just have some other game fascination at that time and later on I didn't have this much time to play - but I don't remember it actually being bad. Well the only two things which kinda were was the fact that it seemed unclear to me what exactly to do to progress further, and the annoying fact of female characters having more of "battle bikini" than actual armor...)

@@Lyokoheros-KLPXTV The animation and the screenplay are terrible, color palette all over the place, women in bikini, robot "furry" and everything is over the top which would be ok if everything wasn't so bad... It's like a parady
@@SSSamael honestly the only one of these things I see are the womens in bikini... which wasn't a good idea at all but the rest? It looks pretty well(thing doesn't need to be photo-realistic to be good after all), especially considering it's over 11 years old.

I actually liked the first game better...
I took care of a little white winged dove just about the same age as these. I put him (or her?) in a small box with twigs and leaves and fed it for 5 days. One evening when I went to check on it, it was gone. I’m almost 100% sure it flew away, but it seemed too small to be able to do that. The next day, I went outside and I could hear the tiny peeping noises, and I know he is in one of our trees somewhere. I will always love it. ❤️🥹

I havent played this game in years but if my memory serves me right then the golem in this cutscene is the exact same golem that you fight later on...? Ps you can farm him on a different world setting,I know cause I did so plenty for easy xp and loot lol
OMG I miss my amazing little white-winged dove. He was almost 2 years old when a new dog of mine got hold of him due to my carelessness due to my pain medication. This was 3 months ago and I can't stop grieving. I loved him more then any person and spent lots of time with him. My only consolation is that he died quickly. I planned to keep him his entire natural 20-year lifespan. He ruled the house, flying freely through all rooms. So many great memories I treasure. I could talk for hours about his cuteness.

The intro to this game introduced me to the sacred art of Power Metal.
Just started a playthrough of this as a Dragon Mage.
I come back to this intro every now and then just for the cringe.
This game and it's predecessor were meant to be parodies of Baldur's gate, but amassed their own cult followings. Deep silver is a great developer, but they made a mistake in trying to dumb it down for everyone, since it wasn't that hard to learn to begin with. It was a game meant to be played with friends and with different classes, but unlike Baldur's gate it was actually balanced.
I thought they were originally parodies of Diablo?
@@A_Potato_of_Infinite_Wisdom that as well, but it took a lot of the world building and concepts from games like Baldur's gate. The best way to describe is is some dudes sat down and mixed Baldur's gate with diablo and narnia.
@@Frame_Late Where'd they get all the rape and murder in Sacred 1 from? I never got too deep into BG (because balancing sucks) but I remember it being mostly happy fun times haha

@@Frame_Late I wish they had kept the formula. Sacred 1 was amazing, Sacred 2 was good (but I have a feeling that if they hadn't used Blind Guardian to make the soundtrack, it wouldn't be as good) and Sacred 3 is trash. What is it with German game franchises getting ruined?

I hope you found the right food. Finch seed. My WWD picked out mainly the tiny round yellow seeds and was very healthy. He made use of a cuttlebone that supplies calcium. He drank fresh water from a bottle with a downspout hung from his nighttime cage. During the day he was allowed to fly all around the house. Pls be careful of dogs and cats. One of my dogs killed him because I was careless. I'll never get over that guilt.

Man, they took all their effort into making the Seraphim look the most badass possible in this game. Also, SPOILERS knowing that what she casted upon wasn't a celestial beam but a literal orbital strike really changes the perspective of things.
Her other Job is Orbital Weapon Platform Controller for the GDI :D
As a person who plays a Seraphim main character,she cast Archangel's wrath first and then Radiant Pillar(which is OP as sh*t here for it to disintegrate a boss)

Sooo, do most people like this game ironically? I'm just now playing it. It seems hella fun, but it's definitely cheesy (but I can look over that for a fun game). Is everyone saying g it's good just to joke or something though? Or do they like it because it's cheesy, or despite it being cheesy?

But I definitely enjoyed and liked it. I mean for real, liking things ironically is utterly stupid. Well there were two things I did not exactly like about it. First was the fact that it seemed unclear to me what exactly to do to progress further(that's why at some point kinda switched back to my old titles, but not without intend to go back to Sacred 2 some day... which never come), and second the annoying fact of female characters having more of "battle bikini" than actual armor... (a way to common trope - maybe that's how it was cheesy? - and which is honestly balancing at the verge of my suspension of disbelief at best. And it isn't even any better looking than actual good-designed armor)

@@Itzeamon_19 it's not a ps3 game, it's a PC game and a damn good one. People should be playing old games since modern games are trash anyway. Sacred was a PC game before it was released for consoles.

Probably the BEST cinematic intro I've EVER seen for a PC game...need to re-install and start over...Blind Guardian was EPIC with the music soundtrack! The Easter egg quest to find Blind Guardian's instruments unlocks the EPIC music video .....it will show up in the credits after you finish the game....;)

Actually you dont need to beat the game to gain access to the concert ingame...the moment you finish the quest and recover their instruments you can play,see and hear their concert. Its really badass too

I loved this game so much, and I still do. One of the best, if not the cheesiest, weirdest rpgs ever. I will always fondly remember this game and pretend that Sacred 3 doesn't exist.

i am just sad serephim has new lame combat arts, in sacred 1 she was cooler also mage in one was cooler and vampire, i miss so many cool chars and combos, reason i never finished it, i tried each char and got bored from their fighting style And sucks that inqusitor is stuck to evil camping, cant fo good with him
