I dont think its working for me
I created round buttons and added them to Canvas home page using a table, but when I save it, the buttons are all showing up different sizes. Is there a way to make them all uniform? Thanks so much for your help!
Hi Theresa! This does occur sometimes when creating buttons using graphic images. Perhaps the easiest way to fix this is to adjust the aspect ratio for each of the images you are using as buttons. Go to your page and click EDIT, then click on one of your image buttons. Once the image has been selected, click on the 'embed image' icon on the Rich Text Content Editor menu. In the Attributes area of the new window, locate 'Dimensions.' You will notice two boxes separated by 'x' (Ex: ____ X ____). In the box on the left, enter a smaller number (a good size for a button icon is 64. When you click the box on the right, it should change that number automatically to maintain a uniform width and height (i.e., aspect ratio). Click the 'Update' button. Next, repeat the process for the remaining image buttons and make sure you enter the SAME number for each image. This should keep all images the same size. One is to be sure and check how the images look on tablets or other devices. I hope this helps!
@@mmiller68 Thank you so much! That worked like a charm! : )
Hello and thank you so much for creating this video. Question, I have the table lines showing with my buttons- is there a way they can be hidden? Yours went away when you updated.
Hi Heather - thanks for the kind comments. To hide the lines on a table, simply click anywhere inside the table and you will see a menu appear. On the far left of this menu is Table Properties. Select and you will see where you can make the border ‘0’ (the higher the number, the thicker the border - with zero meaning No Border). That should remove the lines!
Thanks 😊 nice work
Nice! Easy to follow and to the point!
Amazing! You saved me lots of time. Tank you!
Laurence Lambert you’re very welcome!
