@@RovingSentinel The best all-around build is my raw insect glaive, Clutch claw boost allows to weaking in one clutch claw as apposed to two attacks, and airborne does a flat 30% bonus damage on all attacks in air (insect glaive's gameplay) Armour Set: Rimegaurd Helm Gamma +, Dragonhide Beta +, Dragonclaws Beta +, Dragonbarbs Alpha +, Dragonfeet Beta +. Charm: Challenger V Insect Glaive: True Fatalis Dyaus (Health Regen Augment/Affiinty Increase/Element Up) Kinsect: Foliacath III Forz (Dragon Element) Dust Effect: Blast Skills: Critical Eye - 7, Agitator - 7, Tool Specialist - 5, Attack Boost - 4 (6 with mantles), Recovery Up - 3, Critical Boost - 3, Weakness Exploit - 3, Power Prolonger - 3, Peak Performance - 3, Coalescence - 3, Handicraft - 2, Evade Window - 2, Airborne - 1, Resuscitate - 1, Clutch Claw Boost - 1

Forgot to add that When playing with others, i swap in one decoration of Brace - 1, with one level of brace and all extracts, you cant be knocked down by teammates.

These are pretty solid builds. I can see what you're going for with your chosen loadout. I can totally relate to needing separate multiplayer loadouts. Thanks for sharing!

To answer your first question - Yes, after the opening mission I was able to use 2 weapons. To answer your second question regarding if I'd decided what 2 weapons I plan to use in future videos - Yes, I have decided... sort of... Obviously I've made Insect Glaive and Dual Blades content up to this point, and I plan to continue doing so once Monster Hunter Wilds is released, and the obvious choice would be to use those 2 weapons... ...However, as far as future content is concerned it's a little easier for me as a creator to showcase a single weapon in a video. But the thought of mixed weapon videos have crossed my mind. At this point I won't promise anything other than the Insect Glaive and Dual Blades always being a part of this channel. In saying that, I have been practicing with other weapons, but we'll see what happens.

My PC is actually fairly new, although I'll admit I was REALLY nervous about MH Wilds potential performance prior to the Beta, so I'm happy with how its turned out. As for the Sidestep Slash... I didn't even realise that was a thing until you pointed it out. I just took it for a test run in the Windward Plains and yeah, it changes things up a bit, so thanks! (The Doshaguma who I murdered in the process doesn't thank you as much however 🤣🤣🤣)

I actually use Sidestep Slash in an upcoming video thanks to you pointing it out. Although it's not a highly technical display because I'm just trying to survive on account of the fact that my opponent is a LITTLE BIT tougher than a Chatacabra. But hey, it's made it into my playstyle. Thanks!

With the Kinsect Charge the Kinsect will still only gather 1 essence every time it hits the monster. However since you can still make the Kinsect hit the monster multiple times before having to call it back, it is possible for it to hit different monster parts, and bring back up to 2 essences when the Kinsect Charge is activated.

@@RovingSentinel I appreciate your reply but what I want to ask is the yellow and red buffs on the right of the 3 main buffs. Normally when i use that skill with any slinger i still only get 1 certain buff (yellow or red), I still don't understand why.

​@WangWuy1109 If you're referring to the Spirit & Strength Boost, that's part of the Glaive itself, not the Slinger ammo. In this footage I'm using the Fatalis Glaive which gives me both when I activate the Kinsect Charge.

Welcome New Hunter! I assume you're referring to the Descending Thrust? I'm doing that on the PlayStation controller by pressing R2 when I'm in mid-air. I can do it at the top of a Vault jump, at the end of an air-dash, or while jumping off an edge. This move was added with the Iceborne expansion, and while I'm not 100% certain of this (someone free to correct me) but you may need to own Iceborne to access it. I hope this helps? Happy Hunting!

That's the Kinsect Charge. You need Slinger ammo to do it. On the PlayStation controller with my weapon drawn I'm holding L2 (Slinger button) and pressing Triangle & Circle together.

Are you referring to the blue streak that happens during the Insect Glaive launching animation? That's the effect of the Nexus Gae Bolg Insect Glaive. I'm only using it as a cosmetic, but I still gain its animation and sound variations.

I don't think I've reached "Master" status yet, but I hope to get there one day! Thank you for your ongoing support!

It's also my favourite vocation. And if it's any consolation - I'm not that great at apply the Dart skills either, hence why I stick to my current approach 😆

My Layered Armor is a combination of High Rank and Master Rank Odogaron pieces. The 2 specifically asked about are the beta chest and waist pieces of the Master Rank Odogaron armor.
