Let's say you are a level 5 paladin or something like that. You have like 14 or 16 con. You took the Remarkable Recovery feat as the free starting feat most masters let you pick (or, if your master doesn't, take variant human or custom lineage). Then take Vital sacrifice as 4th level feat. Now, every time you use your lay on hands ability on yourself, you can add your +2 Constitution mod to the HP you regain. At level 5 that means your pool of 25 can restore 75 hp if used one HP at a time and on yourself. So, let's say you know you are about to go fight in a dungeon. You can make like 6 blood boons, so you take 6d6 of damage, an average of 21. Then you use 7 of your 25 hp from lay on hands, and to each of those is added your Constitution modifier, so it's 7×3=21 HP gained. You then go in the dungeon fully healed and can use those blood boon features 6 times. I'd say vital sacrifice is a pretty cool feat comboed with remarkable recovery and features like lay on hands, the goodberry spell or the beast barbarian's bite
