i will never understand why people want to tap the front and rear baffles in after the sides and top are glued. i'll never understand people saying great job to this piss poor method either
Can someone please tell mee what connector is that?, i cant find good connectors online and I dont know why
The amp is Ebay number 263202724492. That's a 300 W amp. You can run a LOT of speaker on that!
Everything fine.
আপনার হতের কাজটা খুব ভালো
Nice work it's a simple box, but if I were you I'll make it a band pass order, well just my thoughts good job
>Band pass order You're new here arent you? Lol, which order, there are like 15 different orders
we're is air out point
Where is your brain? What don't you understand about *SEALED* .
good
I want to put a sub woofer in the floor of my living room to hook into my home theater how small can I make a sub woofer or can I make two small ones or two for different sides of the room
I just made a rookie mistake and made a perfect square box. People have mentioned not to do this because of "standing waves". what has been your finding regarding this?
Long story short standing waves don't apply to subwoofers, moreso towers because of the wavelength of those frequencies. I made a sealed system appx 0.68 QTC
This cube shape generates stationary wave.
abe thoda dheere kar
That black paint doesn't look uniform, sprayed directly onto the mdf without any sealing
Nice work i love it
Really nice work, Really beautiful
the cube format is lousy for acoustics, what is the measurement, graphics ??
great idea
Waht's the brand and name of the amplifyer ?
D. Pipapo read the description ;)
Great job bro keep it up
How the sound will go out there is no open hole
great but where is the air hole
It's a sealed enclosure - not all subwoofers are ported (the air hole is called a port!)
Thank you for how to make speakers. I will follow soon.....
Cómo se llama la canción ?!

mm pa tu test?
just a little question, there is no vent to let out excess air from the sub, I doubt if it plays clean sound
mitchell ekiyor this way the subwoofer plays super clean but it doesnt reach as low frequencies as it would in a bassreflex system
My subwoofer sounds worse in a vented box than in a sealed box. I tried both, and even two different vented boxes, sounded horrible. I know many subwoofers are better when vented, but not this one
dead thread, but I feel compelled to answer this misconception; 1) It depends on the subs being used. Some speakers are designed for a sealed box and will not sound right in a ported enclosure. Anyone who says their speakers are for both sealed and open are lying. 2) An open speaker adds delay to the attack and decay of the dynamics. The initial attack of a note will be muted, and you will get extra reverberation on the delay in an open box. A sealed box will always be more accurate... Assuming accuracy is the goal. We are talking about very small time domains, so for normal music listening this really doesn't matter. But for movies where there are gunshots and explosions you will find that closed subs are far more common as they can pack more punch right away, and also get quiet right away. 3) An open speaker adds delay to the wave front, especially in an advanced cabinet where you don't even see the speaker. A ported speaker means that you are getting a wave front from both the front of the speaker directly, plus a wave front from the back of the speaker through the port. This can cause phase issues with itself which is why advanced designs bury the speaker inside the box so you get a unified front... but that then causes even more delay. Again, this kind of time delay is not as important in most music, but in movies it is more important. 4) Closed and open subs are both capable of plenty of dynamic range and frequency response. The idea that open boxes can 'do more' than a closed box is silly. What is really going on is that a closed box is less efficient, so it takes more power to get a sealed box to push loud and low... but again to point 1 a lot of this is overcome by speaker design and a speaker designed for a closed box is not going to be that horribly inefficient. So ya... closed box takes more power, but is more accurate, while an open box is more efficient but a little more sloppy. Closed box for movie watching in a small to medium sized room. Open box for music in a medium to large room. Hope that helps someone.
where would i get the element you have?
u forgot sound dampening material inside
Hello Sir Can you please send me the details of measures of box for 10"active woofer & other box for speakers?
@@NaeemKhan-gk9ob I doubt he knows specifications of this box being as though he did not build it.
Very nice build!
he commercial the drinks
oh damn bro you got runs on the paint job lol
That's because no one knows how to paint anymore.
I thinking building the box is the eazy part but to make it actually look good that's the hard bit. iv failed on so many paint jobs.
Nice job done man.
Snyggt jobbat! Vilket baselement körde du med?
Tx-011
One hell of a good job
¡Excelente trabajo! Thanks Mr. Lukkas!
good work sir, simple yet precise.
i thought coke was the sponser
haha sadly not, just tasted good ;)
@MrLukazz Hi, your design and build is good and the cab design is called an Infinite baffel, if you would of made a bass reflex design (i.e a hole for the air to come out) you would of increased your bottom end even more, whcih is crucial in an application like this.
SP330Y but with a ported you lose the accuracy. I personally like the sound of ported myself though. Pros and cons of both ways.
It lowers bottom end bass, ive experimented covering the hole up then opening it again, although it does move the speaker more with an hole :( Mt. Olympus
Shouldn't wear gloves around a spinning blade.
They're tight rubber gloves, if the gloves get close enough to snag a blade so will your entire hand regardless of whether you're wearing the gloves or not. I never wear gloves because they hinder you in every circumstance, however.

Nice job, from start to finish. Cutting holes with a jigsaw seems possible now.
