In 2011, I set out on my first trekking tour to Scandinavia. Since then, my life has revolved around traveling, especially hiking through untouched nature. Since then I have been on the road a lot in Norway, Sweden, Finland or Iceland. Even Central European and Northern African hiking areas were not safe from me.
In 2015, I fulfilled a long-standing dream and hiked from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail.
This channel is about backpacking, budget travelling, minimalism and hiking. I will post videos about gear, food, destinations, trails, lifestyle and whatever comes to my mind.

Jotunheimen Trekking - Summer solo hiking in Norway 2024 - Part 1

In 2024 I once again travelled to Norway for my summer vacation. After fantastic weather in 2022, I face mixed weather in 2023. How will it be this year? Well...I originally planned to to a continous hike from Gjendesheim all the way up to the north of Breheimen. In Jotunheimen I planned to climb Glittertind and Galdhøpiggen. But Norway did Norway things and when I arrived in Gjendesheim it was already raining. When I reached the foot of Glittertind I coul not even see the mountain, because it was so foggy. I then decided to hike on to Galdhøpiggen only to find out, that there was snowfall coming in and it was not recommended to do the climb....

@@hikinghermit Von wo bist du ungefähr gestartet? Ich kenne nur die Seite Richtung Lom/Jotunheimen.
@@johannes6769 ich bin in Otta gestartet und dann durch Rondane und Dovre gelaufen. Den Eingang zum Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella-Nationalpark hab ich dann in Hjerkinn genommen, da kommt man auch per Bahn hin.

Amazing nice sound. I recommend you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place. When you guys want to come, be sure to get in touch. And make sure to enjoy this sound. The complete update about the journey and route of this mountain is fully written in the description of my video. You can watch it right there on my channel۔ That's why I recommended Moses Pack to you. Because I myself have climbed this mountain many times every year with tourists. More than seven times. Because it goes up this mountain path from my village and I know these paths very well
