This was my first afternoon race with a new bike ( 2023 Ktm 250 xcf). I finished 16th out of 31 in 4 stroke b. lites. I would hav done way better if I didn't stop for 7 min to fix my arm pump. Should do much better round 2 in Florida.

Super fun and dusty track. It was raining which kept the dust down. I finished 5th in class and 5th overall. Still on the hunt for an overall podium.

im 5 years late but wow some of these guys in the comments are such losers lollll. no one understands the balls you need to have to even lineup at one of these
Any advice for camp Coker? It will be my first gncc. Well , my first race ever
hydrate really well, don't blow your wad on the first lap. I typically sprint until I hit a mile placard then back it down to 75% and sprint the last lap.
@@kevincampbell2333 great advice
Haha I was the one that u hit in the second turn
25 feet off track? LOL
one at a time....beautifull
Nice little channel Corbin! And btw my name is also Corbin!😆
Ha that’s a great name lol
awesome
Dude. Great video. Very rough track. I’m here trying to check out what I’m about to get into this year. Ended up watching the whole thing. Great view from the chest mount. I really got to see you working them bars😂
Thank you. Good luck this year. Should be good conditions.
What bike are you riding?
This race I was on a 2018 ktm 250sx-f
Wow great race..keep the videos coming & good luck!
Thanks. Hopefully get some better vids this seaskn
Keep posting man you’ll blow up soon
This was a dirtbike demolition derby. Cant wait to race it in 5 weeks.
Which class are you? Nice riding
This race was 250c college
What was the deal at 2:50? Split section?
Yeah there were 2 lines there
-32 is gettin’ down there. I’ felt it about -10 there. Great video! Great jams too!
You make good line choices. Nice job
You pick really good lines and most importantly. You have excellent sportsmanship. Fun to watch.
I thought you were doing pretty good with a busted shifter. Lots of guys would have called it a day . Max Respect for returning to the race 🏁
Gotta yell at those guys to move! Great job, congrats!
Congrats man!
I like the way you ride. Super smooth. Good decision making and line choice.
wow you are fast!!!
Awesome job man! Happy for you. Hoping I can ride like you someday.
So you been racing the C class for 3 years?. Nice job sandbagging for a national championship. But hey. You gotta race B class next year..
I got my first bike 3 years ago…
@@CorbinJohnson you'll be A class in 2 years. You got skills kid...
This guy is at least a sandbagging B Rider and should have to go to the a class next year. It really takes a lot of nerve to actually expose himself showing this video.
@@jackstauch8608 c class in a national event is a little faster than your local c class.
@@CorbinJohnson curious what class the others were in that he was passing-D? E? Fg? Courseworkers??
i plan on racing in the next one in may. Any tips? i’ve never raced in the woods
probably just choose good lines and don't ride over your head. look ahead to pick lines and stand up as much as possible.
You've never raced in the woods I'll give you a serious tip+don't.
Congrats on the championship corbin!
Thank you
good ride , congratulations on the championship 🏆 those aren't easy to win !!!
Thank you
Are you running a rekluse auto clutch?
No it’s the stock ktm clutch
Congrats on the championship! The dust there was unreal! Too many people out there too. Ran the 8am session in junior 25+ C, got wrecked 10 times first lap (caught the rows ahead of us after the first bit of field section) and got ran over right after the first lap. Planning on running 25+ Jr B next year. This was my first year doing woods racing, did penton, burr oak, buckwheat and Ironman, hoping to do the full series next year
Come on up and race me bro
@@buttfarmfilms3620 I’ll be running sportsman B this year, if i do well at Hoosier I’m just gonna run sportsman A
good job! you have a good balance of patience and aggression, I always struggled with that. too much aggression & would force a mistake dealing with the slower people in front of me. congrats on the win & the championship.1 point!? that's awesome!
Ya I’ve learned too much that aggression always leads to crashes. I’d always crash 3-4 times the first lap which would set me back. So I just took the first lap slow and steady because riding slower and In control is better than fast and crashing.
@@CorbinJohnson perfectly said. I'd tell myself that before a race and as soon as they waived the flag it was like a switch flipped for me lmao. what class you thinking for next year?
@@WINGNUT either 250b or 4 stroke b lites. Not sure yet
I like that 3 second area that had no dust.
ya same. didn't last long
@@CorbinJohnson Congrats on the championship ! Awesome accomplishment ! What are your plans for next year ?
@@kipcarroll5644 plans for next year are either b open or 4 stroke b lites. Hopefully going to run the full gncc series also
So proud to know a true champion. You are truly an Ironman. Great race! Congratulations. It was beautiful to see the sun rising in the east, nothing like a little dirt to the face. 😂
it was hard to see when the sun was shinning through the trees and reflecting off all the dust.
That sun with the dust was BLINDING😂
Good race, good video!
Appreciate it
Awesome video, the chase that leads up to the pass is fun to watch. What class did you race in. A GNCC is something that I would like to do some day.
@@harveygrant8495 I raced 250c college but next season planning on moving to b open for the 3 hour race. Not looking forward to being on the bike for another hour but it’ll be fun.

Solid ride man! Keep it up!!
Awesome riding! Just out there givin her the berries!!
Hell ya man I bet that felt so good to finish first!
Yes it did. Finally put a solid race together to win.
💜💯
Maybe it’s just me but I thought that was a terrible dangerous course but you did a fantastic job. Congratulations #1.
Heck yeah - love the outside line.
What class is this?
250c college
Very intense in the beginning. Close call on that brick wall 😀😀. Wow, that crash scared me. Glad you came out ok. Congratulations on a great race.
When ya moving up to sportsman B? nice ride
I’m finishing this season out then moving up
@@CorbinJohnson cool man. I’m in same boat I think. 🤙🏽
@@southeastAF what class you in now?
@@CorbinJohnson 250c junior. Got 3rd at snowshoe, but Completely lost my rear brake halfway and my 3rd lap really suffered
Fact fact fact fact
Class?
250c college 18-24
I'd say time to move up to B. If you placed 5th overall, and 1st in your class after being dead last in it, you are a B racer, not a C. Don't sandbag man! Otherwise, great riding other than those nerves getting the best of you near the start and stalling it!
Yea thanks. That was the last race of the season and it was my first full race season so I got a lot better. I’m moving up next year to B which is exciting.
Great race man!
Nice ride, amazing job getting around all the problems in front of you.
Nice ride corbin. And txs for posting 1st video of big bikes. My neighbor is kayla oneil so i was trying to see what conditions she was riding in. I subscribed 🙂.
Awesome. Thank you
