You would have liked a higher spec C8 even more. I went from a 2023 ZL1 to a nicely spec'd C8 with mag ride and performance exhaust. It's an amazing car. Mine isn't a Z51 but I've still seen 0-60 in 2.9 after only a few tries. Way lighter feeling through corners. More precise. I love it.

So does the AFM not work anymore. Would u always be in V8 mode?

I am baffles as to why Chevy decided to make the Corvette so small and tight. They should have made it for the big guys out there not just the Jockey's of the world after all this is America.

I like both, but if I could only buy one, it would be the Chevy.

I put this on my 2019 ss and it def sounds better, stock npp was ok but i kept it in track anyways so i said fuck it and took a leap on this, this clearly aounds better in person, idle and WOT, a little deeper and a little louder but not obnoxious, cold starts sound good and will get people looking way more then stock, just saying

If I could afford one, I’d get a Corvette. The way they look now is incredible. It’s a friggin’ Ferrari. The Mustang is more practical in multiple ways though, and the 650 with full upgrades is very fast and handles and rides great.

You had both cars at the same place at the same time, didn't dyno them or even race them.

Im not sure you had the car in launch mode. Ive had mine since 2020 and run 2.6 to 3.2 all the time just depending on how well you first hook up. I last had a C7 Z06 and would take the C8 in almost every category. Ive always liked mustangs also but every one Ive been in really can't compare to the new C8.

So I'm a mustang fan, and have been since the 80s. First ride was lx 5.0. love the car. Don't get me wrong love American cars especially the Corvette, as I'm not bias. In my opinion, the vett looks nicer inside while stang more aggressive outside. Some might have a different view and that's all fine. Down town or to the movies playing Lionel Richie, teddy pendergrass it's the vett definitely. On the way to the stadium Superbowl or grab case of Bud light with some heavy sweet music to make others jealous, it's the stang. Hell I love I'm both, and that's no joke.

I'm 6'4" and I sit way back in my C8. Why do you have the seat so forward? Maybe it's why you feel so tight? You should have compared the C8 to the Dark Horse only, because the C* destroys the regular Mustang performance wise. It does the same to the Dark Horse too, but it's your comparo!

I'm takin the Mustang over a wannbe ford GT with a fake Coyote in it any day! The Mustang is the superior car and it's literally that simple. The Mustang GT3 beat the living shit of the corvette everywhere they went and the Mustang GT3 podiumed at Lemans in their debut campaign just like the real Ford GT did back in 2016. Ford has always dominated chevy.

If you had the active valve exhaust option it would sound way better than the corvette, you would also have 487hp instead of 480. Marginal but out of all of the add ons for the mustang that is the most enjoyable in my opinion.
