Im happy that we will probably be able to play the male flame chasers like Kevin in HSR at last. I remember very long ago there was a poll that was asked for HI3rd if they would like male Valkyries and the majority said no. We even got a tastes of what would had been to use Kevin at the end of part one.

To be perfectly honest, the visual novel portion is good enough that I nearly wish one could just continue to read the VN parts without needing to engage in the turn based battles. The turn based battles isn't bad per say, but its certainly not doing anything new or innovative. The story is where it's at.

It only gets worse when you realize that the big bug was just a swarm mother and nowhere near emanator level. Also the fact that Ruan Mei in the story actually tried to bring back an EMANATOR of the swarm while being the best support for Firefly.

I agree with this list. As much as it hurts me seeing Himeko on B, I know she belongs there. And as much as I love my Kafka, i was surprised to see Kafka at S. I expected her at the top of A tier as pre Ruan Mei her damage scaled off horribly despite having a great Atk stat. Because she has 0 penetration elemental damage and before RM had no noticeable ways to increase it at all even if her damage is primarily off of Dots. Ruan Mei has changed so many characters in the game for the better it's crazy. She breaks tier lists. I wanted to waste my hard pity on Black Swan and now I'll have to 50/50 her because i was forced to pull for RM. She enables so many characters to be so much better and she's also by far the best Harmony unit for dual carry team comps that it's crazy. What i love about this game from many other gacha RPGs that i played is that even in endgame content you can use many units and team comps. All bosses always have at least 3 weaknesses and you can even add more weaknesses onto them with Silver Wolf. If you can't Hypercarry with DL, you can with QQ or Jingliu or with Blade or Argenti or Ratio or Selee or Topaz or Kafka or Dang Heng or Sam or Acheron and many more other characters in the future. And if not, you can also go for Dual carry team comps where you use two DPS. Which are way more reasonable and break tier lists completely. Because not everyone has an E1S1 Bronya, a Ruan Mei, an E4 Hanya, an E6 Tingyun or an E6 Asta or an E6 Yukong or an E6 Pela. Heck, many of the most fun team comps in the whole game are dual comps. Some characters like Topaz just overall prefer dual carry comps. Topaz if hella invested is the queen of super fun dual carry teams. Whether it's with Clara, Himeko, Blade, Jing Yuan, Xueyi or Ratio. Last one being by FAR the most fun combo in all of HSR so far in my opinion. While there's always a couple of meta teams with the best Hypercarry DPS units at the moment or ol' reliable Mono Quantum there's nothing stopping you from 3 star clearing this current MoC 12 floor 1 with Hypercarry Luka or Sushang and floor 2 with Hypercarry Dang Heng if you already have the eidolons and supports they need. Units that are considered by many, not even worth building compared to others. As long as you have them invested enough and you have the supports and sustainers you can pretty much clear any content that you want with whoever you want. You can skip all the best DPSs and still somehow be able to get through just fine in endgame content. But unlike Genshin, i don't feel like it's pointless to keep building units when you can already do Abyss just fine. Between SUs and Pure fiction we already get more endgame content than Genshin like to feel that keep building and pulling for units isn't pointless. Even if Pure fiction only takes like 10 minutes to complete 3 star with the right units and then you don't touch it for a month. Some characters demand way more resources and want very specific teammates and have it harder to hit their Speed breaks, like Kafka for sure. But the thing about HSR is that there's almost no characters or even no characters at all that aren't worth building. All have use. Even the 4 star ones. Sure, some 4 star characters need Eidolons to be much better to work for certain teams or to even be functional. Like for example, Xueyi who may want to be E2 and March E4 to be paired up with Topaz. Luka who needs E6 and Ruan Mei to hit 200k+ damage breaks, Yukong who also needs to be E6 to even be fairly consistent to use and QQ who wants to be E4 and a couple of others. But when you get what you need for your character and you invest in them enough, you can just let them rip and tear. The current MoC and Pure fiction have been fairly easy enough to 3 star completely. But not easy enough to the point of beating it braindead. Moc 12 is still a challenge to 3 star but it's doable. Even as a F2P with horrible luck who didn't pull for almost all Hypercarry units and who had Natasha as his only healer until very recently that they gave a free Lynx now finally when i am at Trailblazer level 69 and a half.
