Full smooth turning playthrough of HL2 VR Mod. VR is much more immersive than playing in desktop mode. Game capture is from VR right eye, the aspect ratio is more square to better match what is displayed in the headset. Playing in VR is slower paced than in desktop mode, aiming is more challenging than using the mouse, reloading is manual, and throwing grenades is manual.

thank you so much for this incredible tutorial. I'm 90% there but i'm hung up on something. is the only way for this to work to host my video online? I have been searching for hours for a way to do this...I don't want to pay for something like Vimeo just to use it for 5 minutes to use Shader Motion. is there a way to simply play the video locally from my computer in Unity and use that?
@@screamingcolormusic you could try hosting on RUclips. If you host anywhere else you will need to enable “allow untrusted urls” setting in vrchat. If you want to host it locally then you would need to run web server on your pc.
@@minkis42 thank you very much for your response! i discovered that while the Udon player can only use direct .mp4 links inside Unity, ProTV can use RUclips links. thanks again for your amazing video! I just leveled up so hard, thanks to you :)

I can’t decide if this is cool, funny like in a napoleon dynamite kinda way, or just pure Vr Tech impressive for the tracking capabilities shown. All 3 I suspect. Eitherway, as a guy comfortable using His Quest 3 and wanting to learn some random skills such as a few dance moves to be attempted at weddings, special occasions, or nights out exploring the club scene with friends, this video delivered. As a traditional dude learning this kinda stuff can be difficult/nuisanced lol. This video showed me I can credibly practice how ridiculous I will look in the comfort of my home alone, learning via Quest3 VR. He dances better then me. Great upload from this content creator. Should have more views. Subscribed!
For the color range, you put limited, probably because you want to improve compatibility with the vast majority of devices. And then you put 4000 nits for the peak level, which limits the compatibility to high end devices only. Seems counterintuitive, if you ask me. Two contrasting options. Any explanations behind these choices? By the way, the video doesn't look good when it is played in SDR. Too bright and the colors are washed out.
Yeah, that's quite interesting, I think if the game has a setting for peak nits then OBS should be set the same as that. Going too high doesn't reduce compatibility, its just you will be capturing more data in the bright areas that some displays cant display, but it should look the same either way. I have two OLED HDR displays that are both rated at 1000nits max brightness, though one can resolve detail up to 2000nits and other one resolves details up to 4000nits so there is some tone mapping on the device. Oh that was a while ago.. I think it was with VRClens, you turn on the "look at self" and then you can fly the drone so it orbits you.. if you close the drone movement control while the drone is moving then it will keep on moving in the same direction and speed.

This is amazing! I'm curious how to do the clones tho. Is that a prefab or something you did from scratch? Please share how do you setup the clones. I would like to do the same but with different avatars with their own animations and setup a scene like a movie scene.
6:22 You would want to add the world-constraint prefab first if you don't want it to follow your avatar around when you move. Shouldn't be any problem with using multiple different avatars, import the projects and drag the prefab into the world constraint.

How is the temperature at full load / idle, I was concerned about this case of the way the gpu is sitting right on top of cpu, especially 7950x is such a powerful cpu!

You'll need to use something like OBS to record the view that shows up on your monitor and then use a 360 vid editing software to make it into a 360 video (or this is how I record my vids, the channel creator might have another way)

I want t the same thing but with a rtx 3090 from a dell Alienware pc and ryzen 9 5950x do you think I should use a 1000w power supply, I'm not overclocking just trying to make things compact.

If any of you find that your tracking does not look as smooth please look into smooth tracking! It does not help what others see but it does help what you are seeing!! Helps with recording a LOT.
