As we grow, we expect to add more and more items to the catalogue and offer innovative new ways to buy the gear you need to play music better. Thanks for stopping by! Keep coming back, we promise to keep things fresh.

Ibanez Artist AR-300 Cherry Sunburst 1983 | Sean Hall | Guitar Sound Demo
Ibanez's Artist series debuted in 1974, and marked a departure from Fender and Gibson style designs and a move into original shapes with innovative specs. By the early 80s, the quality on these guitars was becoming frighteningly good, and early examples like this enjoy a cult following amongst enthusiasts. This one is in pretty good shape for a forty year old guitar: there's some play wear, but it's very tidy, and it feels great. Here's Sean!

Ibanez ORM-1 Omar Rodriguez Lopez Signature | Sam Hunn | Guitar Sound Demo
Просмотров 2142 месяца назад
Omar Rodriguez Lopez originally came to fame as playing and writing for Texas hardcore trailblazers At The Drive In, but it was his work with progressive behemoths The Mars Volta that cemented his status of one of the most notable and exciting guitarists of recent years. He's got a wild playing style: perpetually breaking harmonic and rhythmic traditions to deliver angular, abrasive lines dripp...
Greco EG450 Gold Top 1978 | Sean Hall | Guitar Sound Demo
Просмотров 1182 месяца назад
Greco EG450, gold top, made in Japan 1978. This one must've originally been wearing a coat of cherry sunburst, going on the vibrant red hue of the back and sides. The gold is a re-finish, but it's nicely done and looks great. The gold/red combo is a cool one: usually they'd have a dark or natural back, so this has a little bit of a circus-glam vibe about it. Enjoy! Psssst! You can buy it here: ...
Silvertone 1413 1965 in Turquoise | Sam Hunn | Guitar Sound Demo
Просмотров 6102 месяца назад
Silvertone were a massive market force in the 1960s, offering low cost but reasonably made guitars through mail order and department stores, and getting a whole generation of players up and going, including many who would go on to become musical icons. This one was a more basic offering in it's day: one pickup and simple controls, adorning a cute little thinline body with a beveled edge and mat...
ESP Navigator Esparto SP-01 | Sean Hall | Guitar Sound Demo
Просмотров 1162 месяца назад
Navigator was the first brand of guitars ever produced by ESP, launching in 1975. They were a small operation made in ESP's Tokyo workshop, offering custom builds, necks and bodies as well as a small number of stock models. This one hails to their first few years of production, and it's very enjoyable indeed. It looks awesome: the cherry red finish lets the wide, wavy lines of the ash body do m...
ESP Custom Shop S-500 Snapper-Style Purple Burst 1993 | Sean Hall
Просмотров 1372 месяца назад
ESP S-500, pink to purple burst, made in Japan 1993. Heck, that's a vibrant hue. ESP are a boutique guitar behemoth... it seems like a contradiction, but they've long managed to be both super specialised and a huge deal at the same time. In the early 1990s, the idea that you custom order an ESP to your preferred specs with a wild finish was a popular option. As such, this doesn't exactly match ...
Fender Parallel Universe Jaguar Stratocaster | Sean Hall | Guitar Sound Demo
Просмотров 5102 месяца назад
When Fender debuted their quirky Parallel Universe series... there were a bunch of weird and wonderful models, including this one-year-only, high-end offering. It's a Strat body, made of alder, joined with a Strat-style full scale C shaped neck, paired with some Jag-style appointments: offset tremolo, Jaguar pickups and some funky switching. It's all nicely done: nitro finish, American Vintage ...
Gibson Firebird V Ebony 2013 | Sean Hall | Guitar Sound Demo
Просмотров 512 месяца назад
The Firebird debuted in 1963, and was collaborative design between Gibson and automobile industry luminary Ray Dietrich, who gave the model it's legendary 'reverse' shape. This one dates to 2013, which means the spec-sheet is mostly vintage-correct, but it's blessed with a very practical set of Steinberger tuners instead of the banjo-style pegs. It's nice in the hands: lightweight at 3.2kg, wel...
Fender USA 1965 Mustang in Dakota Red | Sam Hunn | Guitar Sound Demo
Просмотров 402 месяца назад
This sublimely smooth short scale superstar dates to June 1965, a few short months after one Leo Fender sold his young company to television giants CBS. Being a transition-era guitar, it bears an L serial on the plate, along with a June '65 neck stamp and original 1965 pot codes, as well as a matching vintage case. Aside from being historically significant and very collectable, this is a really...

Yamaha SG2000 Red Sunburst 1982 | Dan Vandermeer | Guitar Sound Demo
Просмотров 1382 месяца назад
This is truly an exceptional instrument. It's hard to describe how good it is in prose, but in the hands, you'll feel it straight away. The SG series started making serious waves in the late 70s, popping up in the hands of luminaries like Carlos Santana and being heralded as the natural evolution of the Les Paul style design. The SG2000 is a different beast to the more basic models in the serie...

but what is the wood fibre, is it wood mixed with synthetic materials to keep it strong?
This is NOT at all why I love P90s. If this was the signature sound of a P90, I wouldn't want one.
You immediately lost credibility in the opening vignette as your guitar was out of tune. The original "lawsuit" Ibanez was the 2350. There technically wasn't a lawsuit...it was a cease and desists over the "open book" headstock and the truss rod cover. The 2350 was the target as it also featured the diamond inlays.
Man, that is one hell of a killer tone your getting, definately a keeper guitar ! Nice playing, love the lively ENERGY 🤘
nice sound
Great
That fuzz is incredible, oh my god
Sounds brilliant! Love 70's and 80's Grecos.
Lawsuit model
Bad pick-ups....
That sounds amazing!
a very versatile guitar indeed
Great song!
This was used for the zombies map the gas station😢
Very nice, indeed!
Second
Awesome
I had an antoria les paul was a nice guitar think they where later Ibanez
Givee guitar :( im from indonesia
I don't think people mainly like p90s to play crappy Green Day tunes.
I used to own a Yamaha SL1200. It was a basically a Cherry Sunburst Les Paul Custom copy with Abalone block inlays and an Ebony fretboard. It had some serious weight too. That guitar blew every other guitar out of the water in terms of clarity of tone and sustain. My biggest regret was that I sold it to buy a "real" Gibson Les Paul that I later discovered had no sustain and was way overpriced and just so inferior in every way. I even bought this particular model SL500, while a great guitar, it still wasn't what the SL1200 was. I have looked for another SL1200, but have never seen that particular model for sale. Hard lesson learned. 😭
Yes, it seems the SL1200 is not so common.
Beats any Gibson hands down !
Wow ! Great demo. I enjoyed this because I own a late 70s Yamaha SL500 identical to this guitar. Of course I had to have it shpped from japan but compared to other Japanese made guitars for some reason they are not that expensive. I also own a SL450 made in 83 that is in mint condition. Yamaha makes some great guitars.
Got a yamaha lord player 600! Love it! Its all the way up there with a gibson lp custom black beauty u have tried.
Love those old PRS guitars
Gibson killer
Very nice guitars man ! 🤘🎸 I’m trying to choose between the Epiphone Les Paul wino Jerry Cantrell , or a lawsuit or the alpine white custom Epiphone Les Paul . At 7:38 one of my best friends had a guitar very similar to that beleive it was a Epiphone chine les paul standard but it sounded so good . Subbed 👍
I have the SST33 Torino red Squire strat. Bought it new 30 years ago. The shop had 3 Squire guitars, all Silver Series. Two of them cost 290$, the third one cost 390. "Why is that one more expensive?", I asked. "Because of its vintage sound", said the shop owner. That was the red one, and I didn't really want a red guitar. And I didn't know what "vintage" meant, I was just 20 years old and wanted to play rock and roll. Still I felt there had to be something special about that guitar, and I had great respect for that shop owner. So I bought it, and we have lived happily ever after. I love my Torino red 1993 Squire Stratocaster Silver Series, and have kept it original ever since.
they really do punch so hard hey. What a fun story!
Not even close..... what's guy above me talking about? Yes it sounds good, not even close to the original sound though
Very nice Sasha! Reminds of the Grateful Dead.
Really interesting playing style, what kind of music do you listen to?
Sounds stellar
Felt like 1993 again for a moment 😮
Great picking!
Can you tell me the differences between k Yairi ans s yairi? Thanks 😊
Different people and brands, but within the same family. S.Yairi is K.Yairi's uncle. :)
thank you and nice playing, of course... i saw what may be one of these guitars...i actually got no clue how to tell (despite i own around 20 guitars...). It has no made in 'where'... and the serial number is inconclusive: V123151. May be a Fuji Gen...selling for 1500 AUS ( about), so i suppose easy to pass on it ( unfortunately the guitar is in a used 'everything' shop, so staff are unable to relate and thus no movement on the price is possible...) Frets pitted badly and buzzing too... They will only say: regardless, the price reflects the overall condition of the guitar...( translates to: what ever the heck you say, the price is the price. We don't give a crap!) it is a precisely centred three piece body...which reflects well on the build, imo ( i am tempted to pull out my zippo and verify if it is lacquer....maybe next time Thanks again P.S. you hope/ want to negotiate, so you ask to speak with the manager, but then you see him coming and realise that if this guy don't ever quit, he'll surely be here working for another 25 years....(sorry. I realise that's judgemental, but i got a sixth sense kind of see- the- future- in- a- glimpse sorta thing going...ha
Sounds awful
Stock mexican pickups?
Those are the AVRI pickups actually!
Sounds great. I just put a set of fender ‘59 reissue pickups in my mexican strat which sounds great. I really like the low output vintage style strat pickups 🎸
That's a great guitar!
Pretty look great sound
Hell yeah!! Keep in jamming baby!!
Wow, Glad I did not spend $1,800 on eBay. The guitar has a flat mud sound from the top to the low-end strings Why?
Does anyone know if this will fit in an ES 335 case?? I just picked up a sa30t but it didn’t come with a case :/
Take a breath Simon !
Topshelf gats, topshelf shop 🔥💯💛
Got the same guitar- sounded much too thin - so I built in CTS potis, built in orange drops changed its Tremolo against a fender Vintage custom tremolo and put in fat 60‘s ( Josephina) single Coils- much better!!! Alone the new Tremolo gave so much more sustain… now this Squier keeps up with others!
the standard pickups in the Silver series were very fat sounding, not thin at all. Maybe someone had changed them out in the one you own?
WRONG, there was never a lawsuit. There was a "cease and desist" ordered by Gibson against the company that made the Ibanez Les Pauls and before that order was put into the legal system Ibanez had already changed its headstocks so it never went anywhere. There was no out of court settlement. I've owned a 1977 2341 since it was new, and it was my main LP for years. Had a middle pickup kill switch added by Perry's Music when I bought it new. Very nice sounding and the star tuners and the Super 70's are quite reliable. also had some metal neck inserts added a while back.
Don’t forget early SVK les pauls
Just got the 12-string version SA-20. Very well built guitar, great tones!
Great video. Thanks.
