@@rch44 Maybe I have an unusual Tesla, mine has a control so you can adjust the temperature to your hearts desire and don't need (if you dont wish ) to disrobe.

You can set the temperature and it is just fine. The only thing I noticed is if we put it to defog the front window, the temperature goes up, way up, and we then have to adjust it manually. But honestly, have not looked at options and if we are doing something wrong.

It works great! The heat pumps work super well, plus in addition to that you do have a heated seat and heated steering wheel as well

Yes it does automatically do that in order to help de ice the window but you can manually just put the temp lower

Try changing up the postal or zip code to different Tesla Locations to see. I can view inventory of the Model Y in my area but the Model 3 has no inventory. It is possible that in your area inventory is sold out so best to place an order sooner than later if you’re trying to take advantage of some savings or risk it and keep checking daily!

Hey you can use my referral code to save 2600$ I just got my first Tesla. Model Y long range AWD a few days ago. Try to get it from somewhere less than 150km max from your house. You have 24hrs or 150km to report and document any damage, paint scuff ect. I got an inventory model. It was over 150km from my house I had to try and find anything wrong in the rain after a long day. It was stressful and sucked. Then I got stuck in traffic for hours and hours on the way home.. I got FSD did 6 years at 0.99%

It is possible although I am not sure of the process. I know that some early Cybertruck buyers that live here in Canada and bought early 2024 in the States imported their trucks as soon as they legally could into Canada before Canadian deliveries even started.

Yes you can defrost for a longer period of time. I find that it is effective in less time majority of the time in my experience at least.

Well the RWD also does have the most range on the new models. So that could be something for you to consider as well. You can always buy a 1-3 year old model as well to avoid that new car depreciation hit.

I have not done it on my two Tesla's. I did have vehicles prior that did get rust proofing and they ended up rusting as well. So I am not a big believer in it myself. I think if you wash the car throughout the winter that will help with prevention on any vehicle.

I noticed your charger seems to be in the garage, but you leave the car outside. Curious to see how you handle running the cable outside. Any door modifications or just straight out and close the door on top of it?

Thanks for watching! The car is always managing the battery temp in the warm weather as well as cold. Hard to say exactly how much energy is being used for it but I don't notice a significant drop even if outside overnight unplugged. It may change 1-2% on a cold night.

Been driving in Finland at the artic circle for 20 years. Never had AWD. Last 4 winters had Model 3 RWD. It's all about having the correct studded winter tyres. AWD is just a quality of life for going faster during winter. RWD and FWD are just fine. You won't be fast though. RWD will be most fun. Saying that you need AWD for winter. A) you are just bad at driving. B) you never been taught how to drive in winter.
