Steve Morse was a wrong fit for deep purple, just like Ian Gillan was a wrong fit for Black Sabbath.

Sounds damn good to Me. The heck with you critics. This old band is still better than most of the younger bands these days who are just not that good. As far as Ritchie Blackmore. He could be brilliant and He could suck. All depending on his mood. I saw one show where He looked bored to death and would walk behind the speakers and just phone it in. Other times He could along with Lord and paice, work a crowd into a frenzy. So it's all about one's point of view I guess.

Wow, amazing! Can't wait for it to be released on DVD. From today's perspective, I would say that when Steve left Genesis, he took Genesis with him. The other three kept the name, but in reality they quickly mutated into the Phil Collins Pop Band. The only one who keeps the spirit of the old Genesis alive to this day is Steve.

Ian Gillan sounds good singing the newer material, but for these old classic they have got to tune down. He is clearly straining and not reaching many notes.

Band sounds fantastic, but it's both great and terrible to see a legend like Gillan struggling with the song he could so superbly sing in the 70s. Kudos to him for trying, lots of resepect as a fan but this is not necessary. Someone needs to suggest either to pitch the song down a tone or two or either skip it altogether. Of course they are entitled to do whatever they want!

The vocals are way off. Horrible chorus and lead singer. And I used to love that song. R.I.P to their original lead singer Brian Connolly.

I´m sorry to say this, but this is horrible... A band sounding like in their 20´s but Gillan is definetly done for extensive touring... And maybe someone should tell them about at least tuning down from E to D in his favor... And maybe also one too many boosters...
