Is it really plug and play? I saw someone mentioned that the 2014 & 2016 wire harness plugs are different. I have a 2014 and want to upgrade to these 2016 look. I plan to install it myself but dont want to mess it up. It would've been great if you actually showed a video of the installation

The first time I saw the 2013 Lexus GS350 taillights at night I was in love. The LED lighting signature of that car was so distinct, eye-catching and proportionally pleasing to the eye. You KNEW what car that was when you saw those taillights. The 2016 refresh, however, was underwhelming to me, and an unwelcome design change for the worse. I've thought the 2016 design shift into the spindle grille era was an abomination anyway, and after all these years I still stand by that. The entire Lexus range has become all about the huge wide mouth bass grille design, and it's incredibly unfortunate. I wanted a Certified Pre-Owned GS 350 back in 2019 and in my search I wanted to get only a 2015 because I like the original grill, headlights and taillights over the refresh. These refresh taillights are tacky to me and ruin the night drive light signature from the rear. Such a shame.
